Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released the latest free content update for Middle-earth: Shadow of War – Online Fight Pits – allowing players to train up their Orc followers by pitting them against Uruks and Ologs from other gamers’ armies around the world. Through this ultimate fight to the death in the arena, players can earn powerful rewards and upgrades that can be used to improve their army and continue the battle for Mordor. The Online Fight Pits free content update is available today for all Middle-earth: Shadow of War owners.

Capcom today released Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package for PlayStation 4. The title includes the previously released Dead Rising 4 content including the main game and additional DLC. The bundle will also introduce a game mode called “Capcom Heroes,” an all-new way to experience the Dead Rising 4 story that lets Frank West wear over a dozen outfits of prominent Capcom characters and perform special attacks inspired by those whose shoes he’s wearing. Current Dead Rising 4 players on Xbox One and PC will receive the all-new “Capcom Heroes” mode as a free update as well.
Grey Box, Six Foot and indie developer Yager have officially released the class-based spaceship action game Dreadnought on the PlayStation 4. Players who download the title for free today through the PlayStation Store can grab the console-exclusive Hactar hero ship and two themes for free. PlayStation Plus members can also receive a bonus Dead Man’s Hand Decal and Emblem as part of the “Dreadnought Maverick” DLC bundle.

Telltale Games and Skybound Entertainment today launched The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection at retail, gathering all 19 episodes in the series onto one disc for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The collection includes the recent third season, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, as well as visually enhanced versions of Season One, Season Two, horror anthology 400 Days, and the three-part Michonne mini-series.
Daedalic Entertainment announced today that the second installment of their interactive novel, The Pillars of the Earth, will be available on December 13th for PC via Steam, followed by GOG at the end of December, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at the end of January. Book 2 – Sowing the Wind is the next chapter of Daedalic Entertainment’s adaptation of the book series by Ken Follett. Those who purchased Book 1 – From the Ashes will automatically have access to Books 2 and 3 at no additional cost. Anyone who has yet to purchase the game may now download the first two Books for $29.99 on Steam/GOG or $39.99 on console, which also provides access to Book 3 – Eye on the Storm later when it releases in May.
