Sega today announced a new experimental game mode The Laboratory, which launches as a free update for Total War: Warhammer II on December 14th.
Designed in collaboration with Intel and aimed squarely at those with powerful gaming PCs, The Laboratory is a Skaven-themed Custom Battle playground. The Laboratory’s numerous sliders allow multiple game variables to be tweaked, pushing battles in new and ridiculous directions. Players can massively ramp-up unit sizes, remove the bounds of gravity, and increase impact force tenfold to create scenes of pure chaos. With sixteen different settings to tinker with, players can even save their best combinations of tweaks to use again or share with friends.

Superhot Team today announced their next game, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, a standalone roguelike set in the same universe as the original game.
Launching on Steam Early Access this week, the standalone expansion already features a new playable character, dozens of levels, revamped AI and animation systems, procedurally generated runs, and an unlockable power-up system. The first upcoming content update drops in January and will introduce the first batch of unlockable gameplay modifiers, new weapons, and four unique new levels added to the location pool.
