New Blood Interactive has released a free DuskWorld (Dusk Multiplayer) closed beta for the upcoming retro shooter, Dusk. Fans don’t need to purchase Dusk to play, they just need to head over to Discord.gg/NewBlood and sign up. DuskWorld players will get the chance to own their friends via “Duskmatch” on 5 maps with the ability for players to host and join their own games directly via Steamworks.
Tomorrow, The Dawning, Destiny 2’s holiday event begins. The festivities include seasonal decorations and activities in the social spaces, the return of ‘Mayhem’ multiplayer mode in the Crucible, and snowballs for players to throw at their enemies in Strikes. Every week, players who complete milestones can earn new rewards, including ‘Dawning’ gear.
New Dragon BAll Super characters will be joining the fight in Dragon BAll FighterZ with Beerus, Hit, and Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black being officially added to the games roster.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will also present special cinematic cutscenes from numerous points in Dragon Ball history – such as the first time Goku took-on his Super Saiyan form – when certain team character combinations are chosen or specific finishing moves are performed.
Bandai Namco also shared details about the “Shenron System” by which players who string a specific number of combos during battle will collect Dragon Balls on-screen. Once all the Dragon Balls have been collected, Shenron will appear to grant the player one of four wishes:
1. Restore my health: Restore your character to its full health (the one that you’re controlling)
2. Bring back my ally: Revive your lost ally to 50% health
3. Give me the ultimate power: Boost your Ki gauge to MAX
4. Make me immortal: Health will be 50% restored, and auto-restoration for energy gauge.
Lastly, Bandai Namco updated the Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta dates and times; the open beta will commence during the following times:
Day 1 – Access begins on January 13th, 2018 at 12:00am PST through 11:59pm PST – for those with early access who digitally pre-ordered the game for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Day 2 & 3 – Access for everyone begins on January 14th, 2018 at 12:00am PST and ends January 15, 2018 at 11:59pm PST
Bandai Namco is bringing Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus to Nintendo Switch on February 22nd. This game includes Pac-Man Championship Edition 2, which features a number of gameplay modes including Score Attack mode, Adventure mode and big boss battles. The Nintendo Switch version of Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus also comes with an exclusive two player co-op mode called Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus 2P. Team up on a single Nintendo Switch with each player controlling their Pac-Man character with a single Joy-Con across multiple mazes to rack up the highest score possible. Special co-op maneuvers give this mode a unique spin on traditional Pac-Man gameplay.
Bandai Namco today announced Black Clover: Quartet Knights, a third-person magic shooting game set in the world of the new anime and manga series Black Clover. The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam in 2018.
Black Clover: Quartet Knights enables players to form their own ultimate Magic Knights Squads to challenge rivals in cooperative battles with friends. Featuring a combination of third-person shooting and magic combat, players will create balanced and diverse teams of four using complementary player types including attack, defense, and support specializations and face off in battle.
