Trails of Cold Steel II Launching for PC on February 14th

XSEED Games today announced that the second entry in the Trails of Cold Steel series, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II, will be released for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store by Humble Bundle on February 14th with a 10% launch week discount from its regular selling price of $39.99. Owners of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel on PC will be able to use their existing save files in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II to gain access to special dialogue with characters reflecting the prior choices for a more personalized experience.

In addition to higher framerates, improved textures, and other graphical improvements that The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel received when it launched on PC in 2017, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II will launch with support for ultra-wide resolutions, a brand new feature allowing players to bypass the Title Screen and launch the game directly from their most recent save, the return of the popular “Turbo Mode,” and over 50% more voice lines from the title’s original English voice cast.

SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy – EVO Japan Trailer

At EVO Japan 2018, SNK Corporation and NIS America have revealed a new character, Nakoruru, coming to SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy this Summer on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

The divine spirit of nature, Nakoruru, makes her SNK Heroines debut. Originally appearing in Samurai Shodown in 1993, this defender of nature most recently appeared as part of the Another World Team in 2016’s The King of Fighters XIV. With her lightning-quick attacks and loyal bird companion, Mamahama, she is looking to bring her brand of 18th century beatdown in SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy.

Railway Empire Embarks on Maiden Voyage

Kalypso Media and Gaming Minds Studios today announced that their rail tycoon simulator Railway Empire is now available on Steam and PlayStation 4, with an Xbox One version to follow on January 30th. The boxed retail edition includes a copy of the game’s digital soundtrack, panoramic poster and a printed manual, while the digital version can be purchased through Steam, GOG, the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Games Store. In Railway Empire, players will conquer 19th century North America as they work to establish a vast rail network stretching from coast to coast.

Monster Hunter: World is Now Available

Capcom today released Monster Hunter: World for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, making this the first global simultaneous release for the action RPG series. A PC release will follow in Fall 2018. In Monster Hunter: World, players will take on larger-than-life monsters in a variety of vast living, breathing ecosystems either solo or with up to three other hunters via online co-op, now with both a global player pool and mid-quest drop-in functionality for the first time in the series.

Out of the Park Baseball 19 Coming March 22nd

Out of the Park Developments today announced that Out of the Park Baseball 19 will be released on March 22nd for PC. OOTP 19 offers dozens of new features and improvements to its gameplay, including:

  • New 3D stadiums and player models with improved on-field movements, including running, sliding, jumping, and throwing.
  • New in-game screen design for an optimized virtual dugout.
  • 2018 roster sets with all Opening Day MLB rosters, as well as the complete minor league system from Triple-A to rookie leagues as well as the Arizona Fall League. All major league (and over a thousand minor league) player ratings will be based on the ZiPS player projection system. The 8 international leagues, as well as independent minor leagues in the US, also return this year with accurate rosters.
  • Rewritten scouting reports that give a more detailed and realistic look at players.
  • New tournament modes. Create a standalone tournament bracket and draw any teams in history into it.
  • Ultra-realistic AI roster management and in-game decisions.
  • A reworked ratings module.
  • User voting for end-of-season awards.
  • Many more improvements, including:
    • Redesigned interface, with the ability to choose between 6 different fonts.
    • 800 custom team logos for fictional leagues.
    • Improved Manager Home screen, with a more customizable layout and new widget options.
    • A new stat — RA9-WAR (WAR based on runs allowed) — for pitchers.
    • Delayed substitutions for injured players.
    • And more to be announced prior to release.

This summer, Out of the Park Developments will unveil a new online mode called Perfect Team. An open Beta will happen this spring, and the company will announce more information soon. Customers can pre-order OOTP 19 for $35.99, a 10% discount off its full retail price. All pre-order purchases include access to the Gold Master version on March 19th, three days ahead of the official launch on March 22nd.

Dungeons 3 Reveals Once Upon a Time DLC

Kalypso Media today announced three new DLC packs for the dungeon sim Dungeons 3. Once Upon a Time (the first of the DLC packs to launch) is planned for release on February 2nd and will further expand the Evil One’s fiendish grip on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

After the devastating battle royale at the end of Dungeons 3, the Absolute Evil decides that its time to take a vacation, and travels to Fairyland. This despicable land is home to the Good Fairy, a disgustingly respectable and virtuous creature who has been arming heroes with invigorating potions and is generally the detestable source of all good deeds. With the help of some bewitched heroes the Absolute Evil sets off to put an end to this story once and for all. The Once Upon a Time DLC packs in three new campaigns, three new Evil hubs, new wall tile set for the dungeon and an all new boss – the Good Fairy.

EA Sports UFC 3 – Knockout Mode Trailer
