Darwin Project’s Second and Final Open Beta Test Starts This Friday

Scavengers Studio today announced a second Open Beta this weekend for their battle royale game, Darwin Project. The Open Beta will start Friday, February 23rd at 3pm EST and run until Monday, February 26th at 12pm EST. Releasing on PC and Xbox One, the Darwin Project is slated to hit Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview in Q1 2018.

Fable Fortune Goes Free-to-Play This Month on PC and Xbox One

Developers Flaming Fowl Studios and Mediatonic announced today that Fable Fortune, the collectible card game set in the world of the Fable series, will leave Early Access on February 22nd and land as a free-to-play title on Xbox One, Steam, and Windows 10.

Xbox One X and Air Jordan III Sneakers Inspired Console Contest

Xbox One X is joining forces with the Jordan brand to create some very special and unique consoles. To celebrate the recent and upcoming Air Jordan III releases, Xbox is creating three one-of-a-kind Xbox One X consoles inspired by the three sneakers. The custom consoles will be based on the Air Jordan III Free Throw Line which dropped February 14, the Air Jordan III Black Cement available February 17 and the Air Jordan III Tinker, available on March 24.

Fe is Now Available

Today, Electronic Arts and Swedish studio Zoink Games announced that Fe, a narrative adventure game, is now available for download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Origin for PC. Fe is the first game to launch as part of the EA Originals program, which aims to bring players unique and memorable gaming experiences from independent studios.

Named after the game’s protagonist, players will run, climb, and glide through the Nordic forest as the cub-like creature, Fe. Uncover the secrets of Fe’s origin while protecting the ecosystem from the menacing machines, the Silent Ones.

Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash Coming to PC on March 7th

XSEED Games today announced that Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash, the summer-themed third person “splasher” in its busty brawler series, will be coming to PC via Steam on March 7th. The title will be available for purchase digitally both as a standard edition for $39.99, and as part of the “Sexy Soaker” special edition, which comes with digital extras such as the soundtrack, the Soaking Wet High School Uniform costume, a set of colorful bikini costumes, the Futomaki Roll Bazooka special weapon, a Bebeby pet card, and a special set of skill cards, for $49.99. Each can be pre-ordered now with a 15% pre-purchase discount, which will drop to a 10% launch week discount once the game goes live.

Toki Tori 2+ Heads to Nintendo Switch on February 23rd

Two Tribes today announced that the puzzle adventure Toki Tori 2+ will be available digitally via the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch on February 23rd for $9.99. Toki Tori 2+: Nintendo Switch Edition runs at 60 fps, and features in-game achievements, as well as HD Rumble and video capture support.

Roadmap of Free Updates Revealed for Railway Empire

Kalypso Media today revealed a roadmap of free updates planned for Railway Empire. The first of these updates arrives today for the Steam version, and will arrive on consoles in the near future.

In the next couple of months, players will be able to look forward to the following additions:

  • The introduction of one huge North American map for the game’s ‘Free Mode’, covering West to East coast and also including a complete tech-tree spanning almost all of the tech innovations available in the full 100 years of the steam revolution.
  • A selection of further free updates, which will include new content, enhanced AI, bug fixes and other general improvements inspired directly by player feedback.

Players will see these new updates begin to roll out over the next couple of months, first for the PC version and then for consoles shortly after.
