Indie developer and publisher Dotemu announced today that Another World will arrive on Nintendo Switch late next month. Also known as Out of This World in North America, Dotemu has worked closely with original creator Eric Chahi on the Switch version, staying true to the original feel of the game and its sci-fi universe setting.
Telltale Games today announced the official release date for the fifth and final episode of Batman: The Enemy Within. Episode five, ‘Same Stitch,’ launches March 27th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
“What would you choose: a friend whose unhinged approach to justice turns your allies against you, or a sworn enemy who will stop at nothing to see you suffer as your city burns? Based on the relationship you’ve built with John Doe, you’ll see one of two very different stories play out. So what’ll it be, Bruce: friend…or foe?”
As the description indicates, the choices players have made over the course of the season will determine which story — and which version of The Joker — they’ll see in the finale. Same Stitch features two totally separate takes on the fully evolved John Doe: one a ruthless villain that hews closer to the classic Clown Prince of Crime and the other an unpredictable vigilante that’s unlike any other portrayal of DC’s iconic character.
In total, Same Stitch contains three and a half hours of content spread across two completely distinct storylines that share, at most, only three overlapping scenes. Each of those storylines includes further conditional variations that reflect players’ earlier choices and make Same Stitch, mathematically, Telltale’s “branchiest” episode ever. With over 4,500 lines of dialogue divided among 38 characters, the overall script for the episode is larger than Christopher Nolan’s entire Dark Knight trilogy.
FoxNext Games continues its expansion with the formation of a new San Francisco-based studio, Fogbank Entertainment. Led by studio director Daniel Erickson and executive producer Nathan Germick, Fogbank’s debut project will be an episodic narrative game, which will draw from story, character and location elements based on acclaimed Fox intellectual property as well as original content.
Indie developer Fatshark today announced that Warhammer: Vermintide 2, the sequel to Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, is now available on Steam for $29.99. The game is also coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.
Out of the Park Developments today released a new gameplay trailer for Out of the Park Baseball 19, unveiling a new 3D in-game engine that, for the first time, has players pitching, hitting, fielding, and running the bases in Out of the Park Baseball.

Good Shepherd Entertainment today revealed a new partnership to publish indie South African developer Nyamakop’s puzzle platformer Semblance later this year on Nintendo Switch via the eShop, as well as on PC, for which the game had previously been announced.
Bandai Namco today announced Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy for the Nintendo Switch. A number of DLC costumes from the original games will also be included free of charge. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy will be available in 2018 digitally through the eShop.
Narrative adventure game The Council is set for release of its first episode, The Mad Ones, on March 13th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
