Focus Home Interactive and developer Big Bad Wolf today released the first episode of the narrative adventure game The Council on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The complete season includes a total of five episodes, with new episodes releasing regularly in 2018.
In The Council – Episode 1: the Mad Ones, you begin your journey with Louis de Richet on Lord Mortimer’s private island as you attempt to discover the fate of your secret-keeping mother – before it’s too late. Joining you are a number of high profile guests, including Napoleon Bonaparte and President of the newly-formed United States of America, George Washington. The strange nature of this private reception goes beyond just the prestigious guests – Richet’s own mother has recently gone missing on the island, while each and every one of the colorful cast seems to have their own hidden agendas.
Idea Factory International today announced that Dark Rose Valkyrie is coming to Steam on April 10th. The Curse of the Pharaohs, the second DLC for Assassin’s Creed Origins, is available tomorrow, March 13th.
In The Curse of the Pharaohs, players will take on an all-new story, set four years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins, and continue Bayek’s journey, as he travels to the ancient capital city of Thebes to investigate a curse that is plaguing the region.
The new expansion immerses players in Egyptian mythology, challenging them to battle famous pharaohs and mystical beasts, as they investigate the temples of Karnak and Luxor as well as well the secret tombs of the Valley of the Kings.
This new content will increase the level cap to 55 and introduce new crafting levels, resources and abilities. Players will also be able to acquire new outfits and gear, including rare and legendary weapons – all themed around classic Egyptian mythology.
The Curse of the Pharaohs is available for purchase separately or as part of the Assassin’s Creed Origins Season Pass.
Starting Monday, March 19th, Xbox is kicking off a global digital treasure hunt to win real UK Hallmarked 18-carat golden bananas. Crew up with up to three friends to crack cryptic clues, follow the trail and find the treasure.
The Quest kicks off with a riddle being released at 12:00 AM PT, Monday, March 19th and continues over the course of three days as you and your crew attempt to solve a total of 15 riddles. On Wednesday, March 21st at 1:00 PM PT, participants from eligible countries will be able to input the answers to those riddles at xbox.com/thebananaquest. Teams will have seven hours to submit their answers for a chance at moving on to the finals on March 22nd for one last riddle.
