Funcom today announced that Dawn of the Morninglight, the first expansion update for the shared-world RPG Secret World Legends, is now available.
Dawn of the Morninglight adds another region to the roster of real-world locations in Secret World Legends. In addition to visiting New England, Egypt, Transylvania, and Tokyo, players can now jump on a plane and head to South Africa where the Morninglight, a cult that prides itself as being the “fastest growing spiritual movement in history”, has set up shop. Your job? Infiltrate them, rise within their ranks, and uncover the cult’s sinister truth.
GRIP Digital today released a new trailer for Mothergunship, the spiritual successor to Tower of Guns that mixes the FPS and bullet-hell genres. Mothergunship is scheduled for release this summer.
Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games today announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man will launch on September 7th exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
The Digital Deluxe edition of the game ($79.99 MSRP) will include a copy of the game as well as new story chapters with the post-launch DLC series – Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps. The DLC series includes three new chapters each with new missions, new villains and characters, and additional suits for Spider-Man. Fans who pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition will also receive by mail a limited edition collectible pin featuring Spider-Man as he appears on the cover art for the game.
The Collector’s Edition ($149.99 MSRP, while supplies last) includes all of the digital content from the Digital Deluxe Edition, as well as a Steelbook case featuring the iconic white spider, Mini Artbook from Titan Books, and a Marvel’s Spider-Man statue by Gentle Giant. Pay extra special attention to the statue though and you’ll notice something is obviously missing. Insomniac haven’t revealed the entire statue for the Collector’s Edition, just Spider-Man perched on top of something. What could that be? It’s too spoilery to show you now, but stay tuned!
Zen Studios announced today that Bethesda Pinball, a three-pack of tables featuring Fallout Pinball, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Pinball, and DOOM Pinball, is now available in the Pinball FX3 library on the Nintendo Switch.

A brand new, story-driven, RPG from developer 3Mind Games is in development for PC and set for release next year. As the first narrative game from the studio, The Protagonist is aiming to entice fans of space operas such as Mass Effect with its branching narrative and turn-based combat system with flavors of XCOM and Divinity: Original Sin.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and indie developer IO Interactive today announced a worldwide publishing and distribution agreement for the video game, Hitman. As part of this agreement, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will publish the Hitman: Definitive Edition, which will be available in retail stores for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One beginning May 15th.
The Hitman: Definitive Edition will feature new in-game disguises for Agent 47 inspired by classic IO Interactive titles – Freedom Fighters, Kane & Lynch and Mini Ninjas – celebrating the Danish studio’s 20th anniversary, in addition to all previously released content and game updates from the first season of Hitman.
Tate Multimedia today revealed gameplay from its upcoming motorbike combat game Steel Rats. This reveal trailer shows off the world of Steel Rats and the stunt-based motorbike combat that fuels it. Announced last November, Steel Rats is launching later this year on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Indie studio MercurySteam today announced that Hades Betrayal, the third premium campaign for Raiders of the Broken Planet, is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Just like the previous campaigns, Alien Myths and Wardog Fury, Hades Betrayal is available to purchase as a stand-alone campaign for $9.99.
Hades Betrayal includes four brand new story missions, playable in single-player, 4 player co-op or the 4 v 1 Antagonist mode, and a new exclusive character, the privateer Ayana. In this story arc, the Raiders will face the might of the Hades Division, the most powerful military organization in the galaxy led by General Krausher. Harec and his Raiders must struggle to convince Ayana to betray the Hades Division and join the Raiders if they want to have a chance to prevent General Krausher from deploying a doomsday weapon that will tip the balance of power on the Broken Planet in his favor.
