Ubisoft Reveals Post-Launch Plans for The Crew 2

Today, Ubisoft revealed the post-launch plan for its upcoming open-world racing game The Crew 2. The release of the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 29th is only the beginning of the journey for all motorsports addicts, as the development team will introduce new content through regular updates. Ubisoft also unveiled The Crew 2 Season Pass, which will be available to purchase from June 29th at the price of $49.99 and will be included in the game’s Gold Edition and Motor Edition.

Major free updates will occur every three months to expand the game’s experience, enrich its world and bring new disciplines, modes and features. The game’s first update, Gator Rush, will be released September and will let players enjoy a tropical cocktail of bouncy fun and wacky races on all kinds of surfaces and playgrounds, mastering a new and exotic discipline: the Hovercraft. This free update will also introduce five completely new vehicles to the line-up, as well as the new “Legendary” rarity level on performance parts that players will be able to collect in game. In addition to major updates, two new vehicles will be added to the existing line up each month.

More new vehicles and game modes are being announced, including a brand new PvP mode planned for the second major free update, to be released this December.

Players looking for the ultimate The Crew 2 experience will be able to do so with the Season Pass including:

  • Three exclusive vehicles on day one, the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6, the Supermarine Spitfire MK IX and the Ice Marine Bladerunner 35.
  • Seven days early access to the monthly added vehicles, totaling 22 vehicles
  • One exclusive house location as well as two exclusive outfits
  • VIP 20 percent discount off of the game store

Far Cry 5: Hours of Darkness is Now Available

Ubisoft announced Far Cry 5: Hours of Darkness, the first post-launch adventure, is now available. The first DLC will transport players back in time as they play Hope County’s Wendell “Red” Redler, who must find and rescue his fellow squad members from hostile forces during the Vietnam War. Hours of Darkness is available to all players who purchased the Far Cry 5 Season Pass or Gold Edition and can be purchased as a standalone DLC for $15.99 CAD.

The Walking Dead – The Final Season Debuts August 14th

Telltale Games and Skybound Entertainment today announced that episode one of The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be available for download starting August 14th on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Final Season will also come to Nintendo Switch later this year.

Starting June 8th, players will be able to pre-order the game on PC, PS4, and Xbox One for $19.99. All players who pre-order The Final Season will receive download access to each of the season’s four episodes as they become available. Players who pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One will also receive immediate access to The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, which gathers all 19 existing episodes of the series into a single package.

Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.

11-11: Memories Retold Coming November 9th

Bandai Namco today announced that 11-11: Memories will be available on November 9th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. In addition to the release date, Bandai Namco announced that the main characters of 11-11: Memories Retold, will be voiced by actors Elijah Wood and Sebastian Koch, respectively.

Outer Wilds Heading to Xbox One and Windows 10 at Launch

Outer Wilds, an open world mystery about a solar system trapped in an endless time loop, will be coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 store at launch. Developed by Mobius Digital and published by Annapurna Interactive, Outer Wilds is a first-person space simulator game that rewards players’ curiosity. The game, which was previously announced for PC, is expected to launch in 2018.
