Square Enix today unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming release of World of Final Fantasy Maxima on November 6th for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam.
Powering up the original release from 2016, World of Final Fantasy Maxima will bring new Final Fantasy champions and Mirages to its adventure. It also introduces an all-new Avatar Change System, giving players the ability to fight battles as legendary Final Fantasy heroes, including Noctis (Final Fantasy XV), Yuna (Final Fantasy X), Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII), and many other fan favorites.
To celebrate this year’s Tokyo Game Show, D3 Publisher has released a brand-new trailer for Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain. The game will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 in 2019.

Nintendo Switch owners wanting a taste of what Dark Souls: Remastered has in store for them can get a sneak peek with a Network Test which begins Friday, September 21st and goes through Sunday, September 23rd. The test will run from 5:00pm – 9:00pm PDT each day and will be available to download starting today through the Nintendo eShop.
The Dark Souls: Remastered Network Test will take place in the Undead Parish with access to single player and multiplayer content. The full game will be available on October 19th.
Please note that a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is required to be part of the Dark Souls: Remastered Network Test. Save data from the Network Test will not carry over to the final game.
Sony Interactive Entertainment today announced that they are bringing back the original PlayStation system in a new miniaturized version – PlayStation Classic. The console will come pre-loaded with 20 classic titles, including Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms. The mini console is approximately 45% smaller than the original PlayStation, and it emulates the original’s look and feel by featuring similar controllers and packaging.
Available for pre-order at select retailers, each unit will also come with an HDMI cable, a USB cable, and two controllers for local multiplayer within compatible titles. PlayStation Classic will be available for $99.99 USD / $129.99 CAN on December 3rd.
Nintendo Switch Online has arrived. The paid online service comes with an array of features for Nintendo Switch owners, including online play, a selection of NES classics playable online, save data cloud backup, and more. Individual memberships are available for $3.99 for one month, $7.99 for three months or $19.99 for 12 months. Up to eight Nintendo Account holders can use a family membership, which costs $34.99 for a year.
2K today announced details surrounding the Season Pass and DLC offerings for WWE 2K19. With individual content packs releasing in late 2018 and early 2019, fans who wish to enhance their core experience may gain access to a variety of playable WWE, NXT and 205 Live Superstars, including Bobby Lashley, EC3, Lio Rush and Ricochet.
Additional offerings include the unlockable content Accelerator, which enables players to modify the overall rankings and attribute levels for all playable characters, as well as MyPlayer KickStart and an extensive offering of new moves.
