In a new video released today, Square Enix shed more light on the upcoming cinematic action experience, The Quiet Man, introducing the cast of developers and advisors involved in the game.
The new video, titled “Who is The Quiet Man?” provides insights into the game’s core concepts and development process, with interviews from various members of the development team. The in-depth look behind the making of the game explores the game’s initial conception, various themes that players will uncover within the title, the unique sound direction process in creating a ‘soundless’ game experience, the production of the game’s full-motion video scenes that bring the world of The Quiet Man to life, and more.
The Quiet Man is releasing digitally on November 1st for the PlayStation 4 and Steam for $14.99.
Remedy Entertainment is making a return to story-driven cinematic gameplay with Control, a supernatural third-person action-adventure shooter inspired by a New Brutalist New York City skyscraper. To shed light on this upcoming New York mystery, Remedy’s Creative Director Sam Lake (Alan Wake, Max Payne) took to stage with Bleeding Cool’s Head Games Writer Madeline Ricchiuto to explore the creation of Control with the main cast of the game at this year’s New York Comic Con.
Control will be published by 505 Games in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Bandai Namco has released new information for its upcoming DLC for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. Titled The Lair of the Lost Lord, this new DLC will be available this Winter for fans who have purchased the Ni no Kuni II season pass or available as a separate purchase through the PlayStation Store or Steam (price TBA).
The Lair of the Lost Lord DLC will include a new labyrinth dungeon in the Rubby Ruins, a new Material Method system that introduces a new fighting style to the game’s combat, as well as new weapons and quests that provide additional backstories of the main characters.
Koei Tecmo revealed today the upcoming western release of Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Slated to release in Spring 2019, the latest entry to Gust’s Atelier franchise continues the Arland trilogy; set several years after Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland.
Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland has all-new synthesis, exploration, and battle systems in place which combine the familiar Arland system with new gameplay mechanics. Blending the Arland-style gameplay with the latest Mysterious series opens a variety of new possibilities.
Bandai Namco today confirmed that Jump Force will be available on February 15th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Also revealed today is a new stage set in Paris and two new characters; Ryo from City Hunter, and Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star.
Today, Ubisoft announced Return of the Otherworld, a special For Honor seasonal event, available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC starting today, October 25th until November 8th. This new event will feature a surplus of spooky thematic elements, including the return of the Endless March game mode and the premiere of the Arcade Weekly Quests. The event also includes specialized community challenges, exclusive Halloween-themed loot, weapons and more.
Flying Tiger Entertainment and 612Games today announced that their arcade mash-up, Johnny Turbo’s Arcade: Heavy Burger is now available on Nintendo Switch eShop, and will be available on PC via Steam and other portals on November 2nd. Other console versions are planned for an early 2019 release.

tinyBuild and Pinoki Games have announced that Party Hard 2, the sequel to 2015’s party-stopping stealth strategy game, is out now on Steam.
Following the announcement of GameStop’s Just Cause 4 Rico Weapon Challenge, the clock is ticking down to when players can enter for the chance to have their weapon put into Just Cause 4 post-launch.
From now until October 31st, fans have the chance to enter their weapon designs at www.GameStop.com/JC4 where all entries will be gathered. After that date, Square Enix and Avalanche Studios will review all submissions, and a total of five designs will be chosen as finalists for the contest.
The final five will then be put on display for all fans to see on November 26th, where they can then vote for their favorite. Once a winner is chosen, the winning design will be sent to the Avalanche Studios development team for inclusion in Just Cause 4. The lucky winner will receive a custom skinned Just Cause 4 Xbox One X console as well as a Gold Edition copy of the game.
The winning design will be released as a form of free DLC post-launch for anyone who pre-orders the game at GameStop or EB Games. All other players will be able to purchase the fan-made DLC once it becomes available.
Just Cause 4 will release on December 4th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
