Today, as part of their global celebration of all things Xbox at X018, Microsoft made a bunch of announcements during a two-hour live episode of Inside Xbox. The big news of the day was Microsoft’s intent to acquire two new studios, Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment.
X018 also featured a lineup of upcoming titles, including Crackdown 3, launching on Xbox Game Pass on February 15th, with a first-look at its Wrecking Zone multiplayer mode, and new content from Just Cause 4, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and many more. Xbox also revealed holiday discounts on consoles, games and Xbox Game Pass. The team announced a number of new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass soon, including PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

DICE today released the official Battlefield V launch trailer, giving fans a new look at Battlefield V’s maps, gameplay and graphics ahead of the official launch on November 20th. Battlefield V is playable now on PC for EA Origin Access subscribers and EA Access for Xbox One. The Deluxe Edition comes out next week, on November 14th.
The Game Awards is leveling up to reach even more gamers in 2018.
