Indie developer OtherSide Entertainment, in partnership with publisher 505 Games, today launched the fan-funded dungeon action-RPG Underworld Ascendant, available now on PC via Steam for $29.99 USD.
Underworld Ascendant takes players back in time to the genesis of role-playing games as they assume the role of ‘The Ascendant,’ summoned to the legendary Stygian Abyss by a mysterious figure called Cabirus. There, they learn of the beast Typhon, a threat to both their worlds, who can only be stopped by the player. To defeat Typhon, players must overcome challenges, uncover lost secrets and gain favor with factions to maximize knowledge and strength.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive today released a new video providing the latest intel on how to prepare for the first Elusive Target coming to Hitman 2. Elusive Target No. 1, entitled The Undying, will star actor Sean Bean as former MI5 agent turned freelance assassin, Mark Faba, who is notoriously known as a master of faking his own death. This contract will be open from November 20th through December 4th so players will only have one chance to successfully take out The Undying during this 14-day period. And by playing the Elusive Target mission and completing the Explosive Penmanship challenge, gamers can unlock the new, fan-selected Explosive Pen weapon and add to their inventory.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be available to play for free from November 15th to 18th, depending on the platform. Interested players will be able to experience the game for free with access to all maps, modes and the 20 original operators.

Curve Digital, in collaboration with Gaumont and developer Kuju, announced today the Q3 2019 release of Narcos: Rise of the Cartels, a new game for PC and consoles based on Gaumont’s series, Narcos. A newly launched teaser trailer reveals that Narcos: Rise of the Cartels will follow the events of the first season of Narcos, in a story narrated by El Patron himself, where players will take the role of the Medellin Cartel or the DEA in a tactical turn-based action adventure.
Modus Games and developer Moondrop today announced 2D puzzle platformer Degrees of Separation will arrive on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam on February 14th. In addition to offering a solo and co-op adventure, Degrees of Separation also boasts a narrative crafted by industry veteran and games writer Chris Avellone, known for his past work on Planescape: Torment, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, and Neverwinter Nights 2.
