Sega Reveals New Music and Map for Team Sonic Racing

SEga today released another sneak peek at the sights and sounds from the upcoming arcade-style racing experience, Team Sonic Racing, with a brand-new beach-themed map and music track. Team Sonic Racing is set to release both physically and digitally on May 21st on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, with a digital-only release on PC.

Jump Force Open Beta Weekend Begins January 18th

Bandai Namco will hold an open beta weekend for their upcoming arena fighting game, Jump Force, January 18th through January 20th. The open beta will give players access to the game’s online versus mode where they can play as 17 characters from the final game, battle across five stages, and test out the online lobby using six preset avatars.

The Jump Force open beta will be available for players to pre-load on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 beginning January 17th. The open beta will be available for four three-hour sessions on the following dates:

Session 1
Friday, January 18th at 4:00am – 7:00am PST

Session 2
Friday, January 18th at 9:00pm – 12:00am PST

Session 3
Saturday, January 19th at 8:00am – 11:00am PST

Session 4
Sunday, January 20th at 12:00pm – 3:00pm PST

Red Dead Online Beta Update

Today’s update to the Red Dead Online Beta introduces Gun Rush, where you’ll put your survival instincts to the test, gathering weapons and ammunition while the play area shrinks in this new mode for up to 32 players. Available to play now in Free-for-all and Team variations, where the last one standing wins.

More updates are coming soon including new Races and Showdown Modes and new clothing and emotes, as well as some additional changes based on player feedback including daily challenges, law and bounty upgrades, parlay changes, and proximity-based player blips.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown – Multiplayer Trailer

Bandai Namco has released a new multiplayer trailer for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. The multiplayer mode will consist of two gameplay variants; the first variant takes on a team death match format featuring 4 vs. 4 dogfights. The second multiplayer variant takes on a traditional death match format, enabling up to eight players to blow each other out of the sky.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is flying towards its January 18th launch date for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Steam version will be available on January 31st.

Ubisoft to Release Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 on Epic Games Store

Ubisoft and Epic Games are partnering to bring Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 to the Epic Games store. Players can now pre-order the Standard, Gold, or Ultimate editions of The Division 2 on PC at epicgames.com, guaranteeing their access to the game’s upcoming Private Beta.

The Division 2 on PC also will be available for purchase online from the Epic Games store and the Ubisoft Store following the release of the game.

Ubisoft and Epic will work to integrate key components of Ubisoft’s Uplay and Epic’s online services to provide gamers from both ecosystems with more seamless social features and interoperability.

Ubisoft and Epic Games store will also partner on additional select titles to be announced during the coming year.

Metro Exodus Artyom Custom Edition Revealed

Deep Silver, 4A Games and Metro author Dmitry Glukhovsky today unveiled the Metro Exodus Artyom Custom Edition. This edition is so rare only ten have been made, and they are not available to purchase in any store – instead, Metro fans around the world will have the opportunity to win them via a number of planned promotions in the coming weeks.

Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity personally signed by Dmitry Glukhovsky and Andrew ‘Prof’ Prokhorov, creative director and co-founder at 4A Games, these hand-crafted editions feature a selection of Artyom’s equipment, including a fully functional Nixie watch. You can see Dmitry assembling one of these packages in the reveal video.

Packaged in a steel ammo crate, the Artyom Custom Edition contains:

  • A fully-functional, hand-made Nixie Watch
  • A Gas Mask and Filter
  • A working Bullet Lighter made from a decommissioned shell
  • A hand-made steel Spartan dog tag to be engraved with the recipient’s name
  • A leather map case and map of the Aurora’s journey
  • A personalised Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Dmitry Glukhovsky and Andrew ‘Prof’ Prokhorov
