Warhammer: Chaosbane Release Date, Beta and Pre-Orders

Bigben and Eko Software today announced that pre-orders of Warhammer: Chaosbane are now available on Xbox One and tomorrow on PlayStation 4. The game’s release date is set for June 4th.

Warhammer: Chaosbane will offer two beta phases starting in March. These will be accessible only to the players who have pre-ordered the game. Aside from this exclusive access, they’ll receive an experience bonus active for the entirety of the character’s progression as well as a pack of 4 legendary crates.

The first beta phase will take place in March and the second in April. Players will have an exclusive opportunity to discover the beginning of the campaign and test the different classes and their synergy in cooperative mode. More information concerning the dates and the content of these phases will be provided at a later date.

Skybound and Beamdog to Bring Classic PC RPGs to Consoles

Skybound Games and Beamdog today announced a publishing partnership that will bring classic PC role-playing games Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate ll, Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment and Neverwinter Nights to console platforms in 2019.

Beamdog is known for bringing enhanced versions of Dungeons & Dragons videogames to the PC platform, including Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights and Planescape: Torment. Six of Beamdog’s games will be released on console platforms for the first time ever via Skybound, all as Enhanced Editions sold at retail stores and online.

More details about what fans can expect with these upcoming console releases, including specific platforms and box contents, will be unveiled in the coming months.

Total War: Three Kingdoms Adds Dong Zhuo to Roster

Through all of history, there are few tyrants as sinister as Dong Zhuo. Revealed today as a surprise 12th playable faction in Total War: Three Kingdoms, players will soon be able to conquer through cruelty, purging the lands of all who would defy his rule. Flanked by his adopted son Lü Bu, the greatest warrior in the land, no one can match their might and fury. Dong Zhou will appear as a playable faction once you reach the rank of Duke in a campaign.

The next historical title in the Total War strategy series will launch March 7th.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II Unveils Post-Launch Plan

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II, the space RTS from Tindalos Interactive and Focus Home Interactive, launched on Steam two weeks ago. Over the past week, the first major update for the game was announced and released. This includes the usual balance and bug fixes alongside a brand new gamemode – Battlegroups.

This is on top of longer-term plans announced that include the creation of an entire new grand campaign for the game, to be revealed at a later date. There will also be another new game mode that allows for large-scale battles with legendary ships. In addition, competitive seasons, tournaments, and a new boarding system are on the way. BioWare’s “This Is Anthem Part 2″ Showcases Endgame

The second video in EA and BioWare’s “This Is Anthem” gameplay series reveals what players can expect to do after they’ve completed Anthem’s initial story arc, including:

  • Playing Anthem at harder difficulty levels
  • Completing Contracts and Legendary Contracts
  • Completing daily, weekly and monthly challenges
  • Defeating squad-based Strongholds
  • Exploring the world of Anthem
  • Completing world events called Cataclysms
  • Exploring new future content coming to Anthem

Ubisoft Reveals Trials Rising Post-Launch Plan

Today, Ubisoft unveiled its post-launch plans for Trials Rising, the newest iteration of the motorcycle platform series. Trials Rising post-launch content will include the Trials Rising Expansion Pass, as well as upcoming free Events and Seasons to give players access to fresh content and keep the competition alive. Trials Rising will be released on February 26th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

With the Trials Rising Expansion Pass, players will have the opportunity to dive in to new locations across the United States and the Southern Hemisphere. The Trials Rising Expansion Pass includes more than 55 new tracks. Full contents include:

  • Trials Rising Sixty-Six – Expansion I: Cruise and crash along Route 66 to experience the splendor that is the Land of Opportunity with new tracks and new Contracts. Taking inspiration from one of America’s favorite pastimes, football, this DLC includes items such as a football helmet, shirt, pants and cleats so players can cross the finish line in a sporty fashion.
  • Trials Rising Crash and Sunburn – Expansion II: Go below the equator to see the wonders of the Southern Hemisphere. Ride your way through the epic jungle-covered mountains of Peru to the icy region of Antarctica with two new bikes that introduce new gameplay possibilities, challenges and an explorer-themed outfit.
  • Stuntman Rider Pack: Defy the laws of gravity and fly through rings of fire with the Stuntman Rider Pack, where players can don the flashy Stuntman costume and ride the engraved retro bike to show everyone that no obstacle is too tough.
  • Samurai Pack: Slash through the tracks with the spirits of ancient samurai to guide you, with customization items that will allow players to stand out even more on the tracks.

Assassin’s Creed III Remastered Launches March 29th

Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will launch March 29th on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Assassin’s Creed III Remastered can be pre-ordered, retail only for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as a stand-alone game for $39.99 and is also part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass.

The Remastered edition will feature 4K and HDR on PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC, as well as higher resolution textures, a new graphics engine and several other graphical enhancements. Gameplay mechanics and ergonomics have also been improved.

Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will include the full game, the single-player missions Benedict Arnold and Hidden Secrets, the Tyranny of King Washington and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation Remastered.
