Age of Wonders: Planetfall Launching August 6th

Paradox Interactive today announced new details for Age of Wonders: Planetfall. The upcoming sci-fi strategy game and series successor from Triumph Studios, Planetfall is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 6th for $49.99 USD. The Deluxe Edition will run $59.99 USD, and the Premium Edition will be available for $89.99 USD. Pre-orders are available now, with a slate of early-bird bonuses and special offers, including custom cosmetic packs and an exclusive scenario planet full of aliens.

Dying Light Celebrates 4th Anniversary

Dying Light, the first-person action survival horror game developed by Techland, has just turned four. Released in 2015, the game has seen a total of nearly 16 million unique players. The anniversary will be celebrated with an in-game event that allows players to score double XP points. Additionally, unique and previously-unavailable legacy items such as the Rocket League Buggy Skin will be given away.

Special Operation 4 for Ghost Recon: Wildlands Coming February 27th

Today, Ubisoft announced Special Operation 4, the fourth and final update of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ second year of post-launch content. Special Operation 4 will release as a free update across all platforms on February 27th, and will introduce a brand-new PvE mode, new content for PvP players, community-requested features, and more. DiRT Rally 2.0 – Launch Trailer

Codemasters today revealed the launch trailer for DiRT Rally 2.0, which releases on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 26th. The new trailer showcases the breadth of challenge on offer: from piloting legendary rally cars through the mixed surfaces of Poland, to fighting for first place in an FIA World Rallycross Championship supercar, to conquering tricky weather conditions in the Porsche 911 RGT Rally Spec.

Total War: Three Kingdoms – Records Mode Gameplay Reveal

One Piece World Seeker – Karma System Trailer

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for One Piece World Seeker focusing on the game’s Karma System. As players meet new characters throughout their adventure in One Piece World Seeker, the Karma System will open different side quests related to each character. Finishing these quests will award the player with new items and experience.

One Piece World Seeker will be available on March 15th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Learn the Truth Behind Final Fantasy XV’s Villain

Square Enix today announced that the latest DLC, “Episode Ardyn” will release on March 26th. Before then, fans can watch Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn – Prologue, an animated short that serves as a prequel.

In Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn players can experience a brand new storyline from the perspective of Ardyn Lucis Caelum. Set 35 years before the events of Final Fantasy XV, follow the notorious villain through being freed from an extra-long life of imprisonment and entering the world of darkness, to seeking vengeance against the Lucian royal family.

Players can utilize Ardyn’s villainous powers that can devastate his enemies in daemonic ways, as well as fly freely across the map, quickly moving around Insomnia by Shadow-Stepping to map points. Fans of Final Fantasy XV will also enjoy encountering familiar faces, albeit younger versions than have been seen before as well as new characters such as the scientist Verstael Besithia and the priestess Aera Mirus Fleuret.

Bandai Namco’s Post EVO Japan Fighting Game News Round-up

Coming out of this weekend’s EVO Japan competition, Bandai Namco delivered a combo of fighting game updates for both Soulcalivur VI and Tekken 7. Here’s a summary of what was announced:

Amy will soon join the stage of history in Soulcalibur VI. Born in the slums of Roven in the French Empire, Amy grew up in a crucible filled with violence, cynicism, and despair. But as fate would have it, a chance encounter with Raphael would change her life forever and set her on a path to become a great sword wielding warrior in her own right.

Along with Amy, Soulcalivur VI’s DLC #3 will arrive on February 19th with an array of classic armor and outfits for players to dress their favorite warriors in.

In the world of Tekken 7, things are taking a sinister turn as Negan from AMC’s The Walking Dead makes his grand entrance into the Tekken universe. But Negan’s not coming alone; Julia Chang will also make her way into the next battle, bringing her powerful fighting style to destroys all who stand before her. Both Negan and Julia will be ready for their next battles on February 28th.
