Beginning today through April 30th, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout is available to play for free on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Blackout Free Access features Black Ops 4’s battle royale game mode, with both the original Blackout map as well as the brand-new Alcatraz map (Alcatraz map live today on PS4 with other platforms to follow).
During the Free Access window, fans will be matchmade with all Blackout players, and be able to play in solos, duos and quads. All progression made will be saved and transferred if players choose to upgrade to a full version of the game.
Today, Sega is showing new gameplay footage for Team Sonic Racing, the team-based racing title that will be racing into stores on May 21st on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, with a digital-only release for PC.
Techland Publishing and One More Level today unveiled a brand new gameplay trailer demonstrating the fine art of killing in God’s Trigger, a fast-paced, top-down shooter, in which players can use supernatural powers to cause mayhem in a quest to stop the Apocalypse.
God’s Trigger is set to release digitally for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on April 18th.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends – Alliance War, the newly revealed expansion for The Elder Scrolls: Legends, officially releases on April 15 for PCs. First announced at PAX East, the expansion is inspired by the endless war of the alliances that rages on within Elder Scrolls Online and introduces over 100 new cards and five new three-color house card combinations.
Today, Treyarch and Activision released a new trailer for Alcatraz, a brand-new Blackout battle royale map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launching tomorrow for all PlayStation 4 players, with other platforms to follow.
The new Blackout Alcatraz map is set in a fog-filled island boasting a variety of environments that all lead up to the big cellhouse atop the hill. Requiring new strategies and tactics, players will drop in, gear up and fight through both close-quarters combat and long-range exterior firefights as they battle to be the last squad standing.
Alcatraz is launching in addition to the original Blackout map, so players will have two distinct maps to choose from when jumping into the mode.

Sega today announced the Sega Genesis Mini. Based on the original Model 1 Genesis which launched in October 1988, the new Sega Genesis Mini will launch on September 19th for $79.99 USD. Sega Genesis Mini will include 40 classic games. Sega announced the first set of titles included with the system, with the rest to be announced intermittently over the coming months:

Bandai Namco today announced Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is coming to North America for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Play as series protagonist, Kirito, and become immersed in the “Underworld,” a mysterious virtual world set in the anime series’ Alicization arc.
Following the events of the Sword Art Online Alicization anime series, Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris finds Kirito in a mysterious but familiar virtual world, “Underworld,” where A.I.s behave like humans. As players take control of Kirito, they will relive scenes from the series through combat. Players will also encounter fan favorite characters including Eugeo, Alice, Administrator, and many more.
