34BigThings today announced that Redout will release on Nintendo Switch on May 14th. The Switch version of 2016’s racing game will also include all of its previously-released DLC packs.

Joker from Persona 5 Joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on April 17th

)In a new video released today, Nintendo unveiled that the new playable fighter Joker from Persona 5, the Mementos stage and several Persona series music tracks will be coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch on April 17th for players who own the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass or purchase Challenger Pack 1. In addition to showcasing Joker in action, the video also highlighted the free Version 3.0 update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate available on April 17th, which will introduce a new Stage Builder feature, new video editing features and the Smash World service for the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app.

Today, on the April episode of Inside Xbox, Microsoft announced the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, revealed some news regarding Xbox Game Pass, unveiled some new features coming to Game Bar, shared info on new titles coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility, and much more. Here are a few highlights:

Introducing the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition

The big news coming out of today’s show was the reveal of the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, which was created for those who prefer to find and play their games digitally and are looking for the most affordable way to play Xbox games. The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition comes bundled with three games – Minecraft, Forza Horizon 3 and Sea of Thieves. It also comes with a special offer to get started with Xbox Game Pass. Available for pre-order today at $249.99 USD, the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition is $50 USD less than Xbox One S, and Microsoft expects to maintain at least that price difference between the two consoles going forward.

Anno 1800 is Now Available

Today, Ubisoft announced that Anno 1800, the latest installment from the city-building and strategic franchise, is launching on PC. In addition, Ubisoft revealed the Anno 1800 post launch plan including a Season Pass with three major DLCs. Moreover, all Anno 1800 players will have access to free content including the upcoming Co-Op Mode, Community Challenges and Statistics Building.

With the Anno Season Pass players will have access to new adventures, challenges and tools as they shape their very own Industrial Revolution. The Season Pass includes the three following DLCs to be released throughout 2019:

• The Sunken Treasure: Players will be able to expand their empire with a new European “Old World” session and large continental island, as they join an eccentric inventor and his diving bell on a treasure hunt.
• Botanica: In this DLC, players will have the opportunity to grow their city’s attractiveness to new heights with a modular Botanical Garden, allowing them to earn new items and rewards as they draw the tourist masses to their floral masterpiece.
• The Passage: Players will have to master all-new production chains and goods as they build an Arctic outpost in the Northwest Passage.
• Cosmetic Content (available today): Season Pass owners will also receive immediately three cosmetic customization items that they can use to customize their game profile for multiplayer: the prisoner portrait, and two exclusive company logos.

In addition, regular game updates will bring new free content available for all players after launch including:

• Co-Op Mode: This highly requested community feature will be added to the game in a future update, allowing players to team up with their friends to take shared control of a single empire as it evolves throughout the industrial revolution.
• Community Challenges: The Anno Community will receive regular challenges that will require all of them to come together to reach a shared goal. Doing so will unlock new cosmetic customization options like company icons or even skins for all participants.
• Statistics Building: The most experienced players who love to go all in on the min-maxing will enjoy this new feature. Indeed, this statistics building will enable players to get more information about their production chains and their output available.

Trials Rising Sixty-Six Expansion is Now Available

Today, Ubisoft launched Trials Rising Sixty-Six, the first expansion for the newest iteration of the motorcycle platform series, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Trials Rising Sixty-Six will allow players to ride along the most legendary road in the United States: Route 66. Whether it is riding across the Grand Canyon or through the Windy City, Sixty-Six provides the perfect backdrop for players to improve their backflip skills and race to the finish line.

After completing League 3 in the base game, players will have the opportunity to experience all that Sixty-Six has to offer, including twenty-four new tracks with two Stadium Finals and two Skill Games. Protect your rider from hard-hitting obstacles with the American Football Outfit, which features a football helmet, jersey, football pants and cleats. Also included are new Contracts and new hidden golden squirrel collectibles, designed especially for the occasion.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey The Fate of Atlantis, First Episode Available April 23rd

Today, Ubisoft announced the release dates for the episodes of the second post-launch story arc of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, The Fate of Atlantis. The first episode, Fields of Elysium, will release April 23rd across all available platforms. Throughout Fields of Elysium and the following two episodes, players will continue their Odyssey in the Greek afterlife to uncover the great mysteries that lie within the ancient realms of the gods.

As the story of Fields of Elysium unfolds, players will traverse the paradise of Elysium, an otherworldly realm of great beauty, to reveal its sinister secrets all while facing against the might of the Isu. Players will encounter both new factions and familiar characters, and acquire new legendary weapons and gear.

Fields of Elysium will also introduce all-new Ability enhancements, which modify existing abilities to alter their function, giving players the opportunity to further fine-tune their playstyles. Ability enhancements are divided into each branch of the skill tree, Hunter, Warrior and Assassin, and several will be introduced in each episode, starting with Ares Bull Charge, Might of Artemis, Kronos Time Warp and Ares Madness in Fields of Elysium.

God’s Trigger – Launch Trailer

Techland Publishing and developer One More Level today revealed a brand new launch trailer for God’s Trigger, showcasing both the title’s destructive gameplay and four of the game’s bosses: Death, Famine, War and Pestilence. God’s Trigger will be available digitally for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 18th.
