Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction Launches on January 20th with Buddy Pass

Today, Ubisoft revealed that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction launches on January 20th, 2022 with a cross-play Buddy Pass system, letting friends play for free, along with full cross-play, cross-save, and cross-progression on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Stadia, as well as PC through the Ubisoft Store. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC, Stadia and Amazon Luna.

Starting today, players can pre-order the Standard Edition for the new lower price of $49.99 and enjoy Rainbow Six Extraction’s many features, including: an Operator progression system, four distinct difficulty settings, 12 all-new maps (roughly three times the size of previous Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege maps) across four regions, over 60 weapons, legacy Rainbow Six Siege tech and 15 exclusive REACT tech, and free post-launch support including a weekly endgame challenge mode.

Each edition of Extraction will unlock two Buddy Pass tokens, allowing players to invite their friends to play with them for free up to 14 days across most platforms. During the two weeks, any progression their squad members earn will transfer over when they purchase the full game.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Now Available

Rockstar Games today announced that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is now available digitally for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Available directly from the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, and the Rockstar Games Launcher, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will also release physically for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 on December 7th.

Celebrating this year’s 20th anniversary of the launch of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition comprises the genre-defining titles Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Celebrating 10 Years of Skyrim

November 11th marks ten years since the launch of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Today, Bethesda Softworks celebrates with the community around the world as they reflect on a decade’s worth of memories, memes, and adventures.

Today’s celebration includes something for every Dragonborn. To start, Bethesda invites fans around the world to celebrate the sounds of Skyrim with a performance by the London Symphony Orchestra and London Voices. Tune in today at 2pm ET on the official Bethesda YouTube and Twitch channel for this event.

The celebration continues for all current and future Skyrim Special Edition owners as Bethesda gives away four free Creations including new quests, items, Survival Mode, and fishing — all available today. Steam Deck Delayed Until February 2022

The launch of Steam Deck will be delayed by two months, and Valve now anticipates Steam Deck will start shipping out to customers in February 2022. All reservation holders will keep their place in line, with dates shifting back accordingly. A statement from Valve reads:

    “We are sorry we won’t be able to make the original launch date – we did our best to work around the global supply chain issues, but material shortages have disrupted our shipping plans. We will continue working to improve reservation dates based on the new timeline.”

Far Cry 6 DLC, Vaas: Insanity, Available November 16th

Ubisoft today announced that Far Cry 6 DLC, Vaas: Insanity, will be available on November 16th on all platforms. Players will embody Vaas, the villain from Far Cry 3 played by Michael Mando (Better Call Saul), who is reprising his role in a brand-new experience inspired by the roguelite genre. Starting with nothing more than a pistol to defend themselves, players will need to find new weapons and unlock power-ups to become stronger and progress deeper into the depths of Vaas’ psyche.

Sherlock Holmes Chapter One Prologue Trailer

Frogwares have released a trailer looking at Sherlock’s first steps in Cordona as he embarks on his journey to becoming the infamous detective we all know. The team also announced they will be hosting a 35+ minute gameplay video on the Sherlock Holmes Chapter One Steam page on November 10th.

Sherlock Holmes Chapter One will be released on PC (Steam, Epic, GOG), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 16th, and later for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Riot Forge Announces Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story

Today Riot Forge announced that Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story, a new rhythm runner developed by Choice Provisions, creators of the BIT.TRIP series, will launch on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, GOG.com and the Epic Games Store on November 16th.

Set in the League of Legends universe, Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story is a rhythm runner featuring Ziggs. Players must perform bomb-jumps and bomb-attacks to the beat of a soundtrack to avoid obstacles, disarm enemies, and light fuses for explosive chain reactions to achieve maximum mayhem. Throughout the game, players will cause mischief in the various neighborhoods of Piltover while evading the noted “no-fun-allowed” scientist Heimerdinger, in Ziggs’ quest to build the greatest bomb that Runeterra has ever seen.

Lies of P Reveals its First Gameplay Video

Neowiz and Round8 Studio today unveiled the first-ever gameplay video for Lies of P, a fantastically baroque Action RPG inspired by the classic Italian novel Pinocchio from Carlo Collodi. The ruined, but once beautiful city of Krat is on full display in the new video. Hideous and twisted automatons rule the landscape, and it’s up to P to find Mr. Geppetto and reverse the calamity that has befallen Krat.

More details about the story and features of Lies of P will be revealed at this year’s G-STAR in Busan, South Korea from November 17th to 21st.
