WRC 8 Racing Into Stores

Bigben and Kylotonn have announced that WRC 8, the official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship, is available starting today on PC, and Xbox ONe and PlayStation 4 next week on September 10th. The Nintendo Switch version will be available in November.

Warner Bros. and Epic Games to Launch Fortnite: Darkfire Bundle

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Epic Games are continuing to collaborate with the upcoming launch of Fortnite: Darkfire Bundle, an all-new retail bundle that is set to release November 5th.

The retail version of the Fortnite: Darkfire Bundle will have a MSRP of $29.99 and will include $80 worth of in-game content. The Darkfire Bundle will include 13 new items: three Legendary Outfits, three Legendary Back Blings, three Rare Dual-Wielding Pickaxes, three Epic Wraps, and new Emote. Players will be able to pick up the new bundle for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. Players can also purchase Fortnite: Darkfire Bundle and download digitally through the in-game store and first-party digital marketplaces.

Tekken 7 Season Pass 3 Launch Trailer

Sine its launch in 2015, Tekken 7 has seen numerous updates and improvements. Those improvements continue today with the start of Season 3. New moves and a major balance overhaul have been introduced for all characters, in addition to the new Play Stats features, which logs and displays your stats. Expanded character select functions and adjustments to online rankings have also been implemented, leading to a more personalized experience for all players. Tekken 7 also promises to keep players punching and kicking for some time with the upcoming launch of Tekken 7 Season Pass on September 10th.

Focus Home Interactive has announced that Vampyr, developer Dontnod’s narrative-driven action-RPG, and Call of Cthulhu, developer Cyanide Studio’s investigation RPG, will both be arriving on Nintendo Switch on October 29th and October 8th, respectively.

Trials of Mana Will Be Reborn on April 24th

During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Square Enix unveiled that the remake of Trials of Mana will launch on April 24th, 2020 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Steam with special pre-order bonuses.

The latest trailer introduces viewers to the game’s cast of characters. Players will get a closer look at the upgraded character models, switching classes, and new combat system, as well as hear the English voice over for the first time.

Those who pre-purchase or purchase the physical or digital versions of the game by May 21st, 2020 for the Switch or PlayStation 4 will receive a Rabite Adornment DLC, allowing players to gain more XP after battles up to level 10. Pre-orders of the digital version of the game from the PlayStation Store will also include an exclusive avatar set featuring the game’s six heroes, while those who pre-purchase or purchase from Steam by May 21st will receive the Rabite Adornment DLC as well as an exclusive wallpaper set.

New Nintendo Direct Highlights Next Wave of Games Coming to Switch

During its latest Nintendo Direct video presentation, Nintendo announced many new games coming to the Nintendo Switch, including Blizzard’s Overwatch Legendary Edition, as well as games launching today like Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition. Nintendo also provided new details about previously announced upcoming games, like The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.

Other highlights of the Nintendo Direct presentation include the introduction of Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury series as the fourth playable DLC fighter in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game coming in November, the reveal of classic Super NES games coming to the Nintendo Switch Online service and the announcement of beloved games like Return of the Obra Dinn, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and the definitive version of the original Xenoblade Chronicles all making their way to Nintendo Switch.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Announced

PopCap, a studio of Electronic Arts, today announced Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville – a new game that welcomes players to Neighborville, a suburban region where the clash between flora and undead is always flourishing. PopCap is launching the next title in the Plants vs. Zombies franchise with a whole new way to play ahead of launch.

Featuring over-the-top action that fans of previous Plants vs. Zombies shooter titles have come to know and love, players can jump down into Giddy Park for light multiplayer battles or use the social board to interact with other players and group up. Players will unravel the threats of three free-roam regions, including the familiar central location of Neighborville Town Center, as well as adventuring through the outer edges of Neighborville in the hot and dusty Mount Steep, and the lush and strange Weirding Woods regions.

For those wanting to jump into the fun ahead of launch, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Founder’s Edition is available on PC via Origin, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The Founder’s Edition is an early edition of the game, offering fans a chance to become a Founding Neighbor where, each week for six weeks, new parts of the game including new multiplayer modes, free-roam regions, and other features will go live in the run up to launch on October 18th. In addition to early play, Founding Neighbors will earn exclusive rewards and be able to carry game progression over to the full Standard Edition, which they receive at no additional cost.

Bandai Namco has released its latest trailer for Code Vein. Showcasing the “Insatiable Despot” boss battle, the trailer demonstrates the giant monster’s flurry of attacks and the monumental power of its multiple deadly weapons.

Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece to Release on September 10th

Today, Ubisoft announced that Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece, an educational tool allowing anyone to explore and interact with the history and culture of the Ancient Greek world, will release on September 10th. Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece is free for all owners of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and is also available independently on PC via Uplay platforms for $26.99.
