The new content season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 – Operation Dark Divide – is available now on Playstation 4, with other platforms to follow. Operation Dark Divide delivers a unique experience with content inspired by heroes and villains. The new content package contains two Multiplayer maps, a new Blackout mode and a variety of hero-themed personalization items and gear. Additionally, Treyarch will conclude the Aether storyline – one that has been more than ten years in the making – with ‘Tag Der Toten’.
Today, 2K announced that Borderlands 3, the latest entry to the renowned shooter-looter franchise, has achieved multiple record-setting milestones for both the series and label following its release on September 13th. Within its first five days of launch, 50% more consumers purchased Borderlands 3 versus sales of its predecessor – Borderlands 2 – making the title the fastest-selling in 2K’s history, as well as the highest-selling title for the label on PC in a five-day window. In addition, Borderlands 3 has sold-in more than 5 million units in its first five days, leading the Borderlands franchise to generate more than $1 billion in Net Bookings and becoming the second franchise in 2K history to achieve this milestone.
Earlier today, Borderlands 3 Creative Director Paul Sage debuted the very first footage of the upcoming “Bloody Harvest” in-game event during the inaugural episode of The Borderlands Show, a new monthly web series covering all things Borderlands.
Bloody Harvest is a free, Halloween-themed event that will launch next month and run for a limited time. The event will include brand new and appropriately themed Legendary weapons, character skins, enemy types, environments, and at least one seriously spooky boss battle.
All players can take part in Bloody Harvest when it goes live in October, as it’s the first of many free updates and events you can expect from Borderlands 3.
Today, Xbox One players can get their hands on the official release of Crytek’s online multiplayer bounty hunting game, Hunt: Showdown. At launch, players will also be able to grab the game’s first Legendary DLC pack, “Legends of the Bayou.” Xbox One X players can expect 1800p resolution – as well as better texture filtering, a larger texture pool, a higher quality water shader, and improved SVOTI, shadow quality, and anti-aliasing.
505 Games and indie developer Lab Zero Games have unveiled the complete animated opening sequence for Indivisible created by Emmy Award-Winning studio Trigger and scored by composer Hiroki Kikuto (Secret of Mana). Indivisible will release on October 8th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Night School Studio’s next original game, Afterparty, where players will party their way out of Hell, launches on October 29th for Xbox One, PC via the Epic Games Store and PlayStation 4. Afterparty will be priced at $19.99 for all platforms and will also be part of Xbox Game Pass.

Bandai Namco today released Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered, an enhanced version of 2013’s RPG featuring upgraded graphics, on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. The original game is also available on Nintendo Switch today.
Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force today revealed three new additions to the Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate roster; including Greek god, Hades; the heroic warriors, Achilles; and Koei Tecmo’s iconic ninja, Ryu Hayabusa.

Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive today released a new Hitman 2 trailer showcasing Haven Island (Maldives), a brand-new sandbox location that transports players to a lavish resort off the coast of India, rumored to be the premiere destination for wealthy criminals to reconstruct their reputations and identities.
Available September 24th for all Expansion Pass owners, Haven Island picks up directly after the events from the Milton-Fitzpatrick investment bank mission in New York, as Agent 47 must now travel to the luxurious resort under a fake identity and assume the role of a guest. While undercover, 47 must locate and eliminate three different targets – Ljudmila Vetrova, a former confidence artist and the public face of Haven Island; Tyson Williams, the founder and CEO of the island; and Steven Bradley, a technical wizard and the brains behind Haven Island’s proprietary software platform.
