Two Expansions for Luigi’s Mansion 3 Arrive in 2020

Just when Luigi thought it was safe to get a night’s rest, duty beckons as waves of new ghosts and mini-games arrive in two new expansions for Luigi’s Mansion 3 on the Nintendo Switch. Planned for launch in 2020, the Luigi’s Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack includes both Part 1 and Part 2, which will not be available for individual purchase, and can be pre-purchased starting now for $9.99 in Nintendo eShop on Switch.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack Part 1 will arrive by April 30th. The DLC includes three new mini-games for the multiplayer ScreamPark mode. It also introduces three new outfits for Luigi with matching floor themes and new themed ghosts in the cooperative ScareScraper mode. And as a special bonus for those who purchase the DLC, players will receive an in-game Polterpup light called the Flashlight Type-P. Players can use this during Story Mode or ScareScraper.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack Part 2 will launch by July 31st, with additional content and features for both ScreamPark and ScareScraper modes. There will be three more new mini-games for ScreamPark mode, as well as three new ScareScraper outfits with matching floor themes and themed ghosts.

Activision have released the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season One Refresh trailer, which showcases new content that’s going live this week for players on all platforms. This week Modern Warfare debuts a new game mode, Cranked, the Allegiance forces add the Operator Nikto, new maps for standard Multiplayer and Gunfight come online, and new Special Ops experiences are available that progress the Modern Warfare narrative.

The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition Out Today

Today, Athlon Games and Telltale Games launched The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition. Shadows Edition brings a sinister new look to the Telltale Batman Series adding a noir-style visual makeover and graphical upgrade to the game.

The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition, which includes the Batman: The Telltale Series base game and new noir style DLC, is available for players to purchase now on Xbox One and Steam, PlayStation 4 on December 20th, and Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch in the near future, for $29.99. Players who already own the base game can add Shadows Mode as stand-alone DLC from $4.99.

World War Z Adds Wave-based Horde Mode Z

Saber Interactive, in partnership with Focus Home Interactive, has released the new Horde Mode Z update for World War Z. Horde Mode Z throws waves of progressively challenging enemies at teams of up to four players, with increasingly bigger rewards for surviving. In between rounds, players can upgrade their firepower and defenses while scavenging for free pickups like heavy weapons and medkits.

Introducing the DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment

Sony Interactive Entertainment today introduced the DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment. Launching January 23rd, 2020 for $39.99 CAD, the two programmable and highly tactile back buttons allows you to utilize more of your hand to shorten response time and gives you more flexibility in competitive gameplay.

The two back buttons can map up to 16 different actions such as triangle, circle, R1 and R2 to name a few. The attachment also features an integrated OLED display that provides real time information around button assignments. A dedicated button allows you to remap back button inputs on the fly. Furthermore, you can save and choose up to three different profiles for use in various games and there is also a headset pass-through for connecting any 3.5mm wired headset to the controller.
