Indie publisher Versus Evil and developer Obsidian Entertainment today announced that Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition is now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a Nintendo Switch version following later in the year.
Priced at $59.99, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition features all the major updates and expansions available for the PC version made up of Beast of Winter, Seeker, Slayer, Survivor and Forgotten Sanctum.
Publisher 505 Games and developer Typhoon Studios today launched the sci-fi exploration and adventure game Journey to the Savage Planet digitally and physically for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
As an employee of Kindred Aerospace, players are dropped onto the uncharted planet AR-Y 26, deep in a fictitious, far-away corner of the universe. Launched with high hopes but little equipment and no real plan (or even enough fuel to return home), players are invited to explore, catalog alien flora and fauna and determine if this strange planet is fit for human habitation. Journey to the Savage Planet can be played as a single-player game or with 2-player online co-op.
CD Projekt Red today announced that Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is now available for Nintendo Switch. Thronebreaker is a single player role-playing game that combines narrative-driven exploration with puzzles and turn-based battles, and spins the tale of Meve, war-veteran queen of two Northern Realms — Lyria and Rivia.
At EVO Japan this past weekend, Bandai Namco dropped a new Developer Diary featuring a behind the scenes look at the development of two of Tekken 7’s new characters, Leroy Smith (Wing Chun style) and Fahkumram (Muay Thai style).

Sony Interactive Entertainment today announced that Patapon 2 Remastered will launch for PlayStation 4 on January 30th via PlayStation Store for $14.99 USD.
For those unfamiliar with the franchise, Patapon is a rhythm-based 2D platform / action game. Patapon 2 is the second entry in the Patapon story following the original game, which was remastered in 2018. Patapon 2 Remastered is a full 4K remaster of the 2008 PSP game.
Deep Silver and 4A Games today revealed more details for Sam’s Story, the second major story DLC for Metro Exodus, and confirmed that it will release on February 11th.
Sam’s Story follows former US Marine Sam, a Spartan Ranger who has worked under Colonel Miller since the nuclear war devastated Moscow, and followed Artyom in search of a world outside of the Metro. Sam had long dreamed of returning to his homeland, and perhaps even finding his father alive. The prospect seemed impossible in the darkened tunnels of the Metro, but when the Spartans discovered that Moscow was not the only city left alive after the war, holding out hope didn’t feel so foolish anymore.
Sam, determined to find a way back to the USA, departed from the Aurora to make his way through Vladivostok’s tsunami ravaged harbours, ruined industrial buildings, and crumbling residential districts. However, to complete his journey, Sam will discover that he needs every tactic he has learned so far to survive, as his surroundings prove to be far trickier than expected.
SNK announced today that Samurai Shodown will feature four brand-new DLC characters including Mina, Sogetsu, and Iroha for the second season. In addition to all the previous Season 1 characters, this new content will also be available for the Nintendo Switch version of the game scheduled for release on February 25th.

Today, Perfect World Entertainment and developer Echtra Games announced Torchlight Frontiers will launch as Torchlight III on Steam this summer and begins closed alpha testing January 29th. Previously announced as a free-to-play experience, the dungeon crawler will return to the premium model adapted by Torchlight I and II, with a new focus on linear progression.
