PUBG Corporation today announced a brand new way to experience PUBG – Arcade Mode. Through Arcade Mode, players will be able to enjoy new ways to play the game outside of the traditional Battle Royale format. The first of these new ways is the classic Team Deathmatch mode, which will be available in Arcade for a limited time.
Update 6.2 also brings a much requested rebalance of throwables. Frag grenades, Molotovs, Smoke grenades, and stun grenades will now all weigh more, meaning you can carry fewer of them in your inventory. Vests will now also mitigate frag grenade damage and fire from molotovs will spread considerably faster.
Update 6.2 lands on PC live servers on February 19th and console live servers shortly after.
THQ Nordic and Airship Syndicate today announced the release of Darksiders Genesis on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, coming tomorrow, February 14th. The top-down action adventure game is also available for PC and Google Stadia.
XSEED Games today launched Daemon X Machina, the high-speed mech action game, on PC via Steam. The title is now available for purchase digitally with a launch week discount of 10% off of its normal MSRP of $59.99, ending on February 20th. All copies purchased during the first month following launch will include the exclusive Prototype Arsenal Set, which will also be available for purchase separately at a later date, and the Metallic Equipment Set, which is only available as an early bird bonus and will not be sold separately.
Today, Capcom announced two additional Masterminds joining the roster for Resident Evil Resistance, the upcoming 4 versus 1 asymmetrical survival horror experience included with Resident Evil 3. Infamous Resident Evil villains, Alex Wesker and Ozwell Spencer, each bring a unique brand of terror to the game and a set of special abilities to thwart the Survivors trying to escape Umbrella Corporation’s devious experiments. This duo rounds out Umbrella’s team of Masterminds in Resident Evil Resistance, alongside the previously announced newcomer Daniel Fabron and the notorious Annette Birkin.
In addition to revealing new Masterminds, Capcom also shared two new maps where Masterminds and Survivors will try to outwit each other:

Bandai Namco today announced that the Action-MMORPG Bless Unleashed is coming exclusively to the Xbox One on March 12th.
Starting now, Bless Unleashed is also making available for purchase the Deluxe, Exalted, and Ultimate Founder’s Packs. The Deluxe Founder’s pack includes a 7-day head start, the “Founder’s Pyreborn” title, the Ivory Unicorn mount, and 7 day Valor Perks. The Exalted Pack includes everything in the Deluxe Founder’s Pack plus a 10-day head start, the Ironclad Rhino Mount, the Gilded Enforcer Costume set, an additional character slot, 1,000 Lumena (virtual currency), and a 30 day Valor Perks. On February 19th, two Super NES games are headed to the Nintendo Switch Online service that have never been released in North America before. Pop’n TwinBee, a classic cute-‘em-up shooter, and Smash Tennis, a 16-bit spin on the competitive sport, are both joining the SNES – Nintendo Switch Online collection. In addition, Shadow of the Ninja and Eliminator Boat Duel will be joining the NES – Nintendo Switch Online collection.
Today, Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Warlords of New York, a narrative-driven expansion in The Division 2, available March 3rd on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Uplay+. The Division 2 and its expansion will also launch on Stadia later in March.
While current The Division 2 players can purchase the expansion on its own, new players can purchase the Standard Edition, which includes The Division 2 base game and Warlords of New York expansion. The Ultimate Edition, which gives players both the game and its expansion, as well as all of The Division 2’s Year 1 content, classified assignments and unlocked specializations, will also be available. All players must be at Level 30 and have reached World Tier 5 to join The Division 2 Warlords of New York. As such, each edition of the game will come with a Level 30 boost that players can activate if they wish to do so, to immediately jump into the New York expansion. After completing The Division 2 Warlords of New York campaign, Agents can then fast travel freely between Washington DC and New York City.
In The Division 2 Warlords of New York, Division Agents will go on a manhunt for Aaron Keener, a former Division Agent who has now gone rogue. Keener, along with his network of Rogue Agents, is now a major threat to the burgeoning rebirth of civilization. To track down Keener, Agents will roam the open world of Lower Manhattan; a former Dark Zone that was recently hit by a devastating hurricane. Agents are tasked to explore new zones, each with iconic locations such as Two Bridges, Chinatown, and Wall Street. To get to Keener, players must take down each of his Rogue Agents. Each Rogue Agent has their own unique back story and skill – which you gain once you take them down.
MLB Advanced Media released the first gameplay trailer for RBI Baseball 20, showing the new hitting and pitching mechanics as well as new centerfield camera view. RBI Baseball 20 will be available mid-March on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Square Enix today announced the Outriders reveal stream and unveiled its debut gameplay trailer. From People Can Fly, the developers of Gears of War: Judgment and Bulletstorm, and Square Enix External Studios, Outriders is a co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe. As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across a hostile planet.
The Outriders reveal stream will feature Game Director, Bartek Kmita; Lead Writer, Joshua Rubin; and host, Malik Forte and is set to debut Thursday, February 13th at 12:00pm PST at www.twitch.tv/squareenix.
Outriders will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC in Holiday 2020. Outriders will also release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
