Since its initial release on the Master System in 1986, the Sega platforming classic Alex Kidd in Miracle World returns over three decades later in the form of Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX. Alex Kidd is catapulted into a new generation with new art, improved boss fight systems and different modes. Extra levels will also be included, expanding the lore of the original title to bring a fresh dimension to Alex Kidd in Miracle World.
Merge Games and Antab Studio are set to deliver their futuristic action shooter, Foreclosed. Taking inspiration from titles such as the Deux Ex and Max Payne series, and Frank Miller’s graphic novel, Hard Boiled, Foreclosed is narrative-driven action game where the player takes control of brain implant abilities, hi-tech weaponry, and a diverse skill tree system all encompassed alongside a cyberpunk-graphic novel aesthetic.
Lastly, Merge Games, in collaboration with indie developer Still Running, unveiled the most gruesome take yet on the isometric soulslike genre with Morbid: The Seven Acolytes. Challenging foes, mini-bosses, and large-scale boss fights with fully orchestrated music are some of the encounters that will have players testing their mettle in Morbid.
The third campaign add-on for Borderlands 3 is available now, coinciding with a free level cap increase and updates to both Mayhem Mode 2.0 and Takedown at the Guardian Breach. Bounty of Blood is the third of four campaign add-ons included with the Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition and Season Pass. It’s also available for purchase separately, though you will need to own a copy of the base game in order to play the add-on content.
Bandai Namco today announced that Mr. Driller DrillLand is available now digitally for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Mr. Driller DrillLand is an action-puzzle game that challenges players to “drill” their way to the bottom of the screen by destroying colorful blocks in the game field, creating combos of colorful chain reactions and avoiding enemies all the while. The new release delivers new updates to its graphics, gameplay and HD cutscenes.
Bandai Namco today unveiled the pre-order bonuses for Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Maxiboost ON. Players who pre-order the title will receive the playable Mobile Suit Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex, and access to Operator “Sthesia Awar” in Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2. The Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Maxiboost ON open access period has now begun, allowing all players to play the game for up to 24 hours every weekend, but for those who pre-order the game, they will receive an additional 24 hours, for a total of 48 hours of open access each weekend.
Codemasters today revealed the TV advert for F1 2020, the official videogame of the 2020 FIA Formula One World Championship. Featuring ‘Champion’ by Bishop Briggs and Tom Morello, the trailer will air across linear and digital platforms in time for the start of the revised 2020 season and alongside the launch of the game on July 10th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.

Today, Square Enix released the first Marvel’s Avengers War Table digital stream providing the most in-depth look yet at Marvel’s Avengers.
The Marvel’s Avengers War Table offers players a world premiere look at new trailers, including a first showing of new Thor gameplay in his, “Once an Avenger” campaign hero mission. This playthrough follows The God of Thunder as he battles enemies with powerful lightning strikes, unleashes a barrage of Mjolnir attacks, and performs many other signature heroic moves solo and with AI Avengers teammates.
The stream also offers more details on the game’s central villain, MODOK (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing), who Marvel fans will recognize as the artificially mutated, super intelligent overlord of AIM (Advanced Idea Mechanics).
Lastly, Crystal Dynamics revealed brand-new information about War Zones, the game’s team-based missions, including their structure and how the Avengers become even more powerful when working together. War Zones can be played either solo with AI hero companions, or in co-op groups of up to four players. The stream also revealed more of the game’s world, from AIM’s research facilities to a derelict Helicarrier, all of which can be explored by players to earn new rewards, gear, and experience points.
Marvel’s Avengers will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC on September 4th, and will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when the consoles launch in Holiday 2020.
Taito today announced two new titles coming soon to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
Darius Cozmic Revelation includes a pair of 3D games from Taito’s horizontal shooter game series, Darius, which debuted in arcades in 1986. The two games included in the title are G-Darius HD, and DariusBurst AC EX+, both of which will include updated features. Darius Cozmic Revelation will be released this winter for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
Taito also announced Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron is Back!, the latest edition of the action-puzzle game series, Bubble Bobble. Previously released on the Nintendo Switch as Bobble Bobble 4 Friends, this updated version for PlayStation 4 will include 100 new stages and a special appearance of the fan favorite villain, Baron von Blubba. Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron is Back! Is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 in November. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will receive the new content as a free update.
In addition, a new Puzzle Bobble (a.k.a. Bust-A-Move) VR title for the Oculus Quest, by VR specialists Survios, is also in development.
Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Palindrome Interactive today shared the next developer featurette for Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars, diving into the game’s blend of turn-based vampiric combat and empire management. Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars will launch on August 28th for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
