Tribute Games today debuted a new gameplay trailer revealing Master Splinter as the sixth playable character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, the Turtles beat ‘em up game coming later this year to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Indie developer Midgar Studio, working in partnership with publisher Dear Villagers, today released their JRPG Edge Of Eternity on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. It will also launch on Nintendo Switch via a cloud version on February 23rd. The game is also available on Game Pass beginning today.
All console versions include all current and upcoming updates from the PC version, as well as the newly added Japanese voice acting, which also launches on the PC build today as a free update.
In the latest Nintendo Direct video presentation, Nintendo announced a lineup of new games and content arriving for the Nintendo Switch throughout this year. Nintendo also shared new details about previously announced games, including when players will be able to get their hands on them.
The Nintendo Direct featured footage and info about the next games in franchises like Xenoblade Chronicles 3; Nintendo Switch Sports, which is a new iteration of the Wii Sports series with online play; Mario Strikers: Battle League; and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. There was also news about the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass, featuring the addition of 48 remastered courses to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe from throughout the Mario Kart series, accessed at no additional cost with a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass membership or as paid D:C. Plus, details were shown about the next wave of co-op mode Salmon Run in Splatoon 3, along with the announcement of its summer launch window. The classic RPGs EarthBound and EarthBound Beginnings were also announced as coming to Nintendo Switch Online later today.
In addition, the presentation highlighted many games from Nintendo’s global publishing and development partners, including MLB The Show 22 on Nintendo Switch, a pair of puzzle-platform games in the Portal: Companion Collection, and the free-to-play Disney and Pixar combat racer Disney Speedstorm. The presentation also featured a number of remakes and remasters of classic games from Square Enix like Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition, Front Mission 1st: Remake, and, releasing for the first time outside of Japan, Live a Live.

Square Enix today announced that the sixth release in the Final Fantasy pixel remaster series, Final Fantasy VI, will be releasing on February 23th for Steam. Originally released for the Super Nintendo in 1994, PC players can look forward to the following improvements and updates:

Frontier Foundry and Complex Games have revealed that actor Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings, the Planet of the Apes trilogy, The Batman) will lend his vocal talents to Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters as Vardan Kai, a Grand Master and Steward of the Armoury, in the game’s campaign. In addition, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters will be releasing on May 5th and is available to pre-order now on Steam and Epic Game Store.
Joseph: Collapse, the third and final major DLC coming to Far Cry 6 as part of the Season Pass, is now available on all platforms. Players will embody Joseph Seed, the villain from Far Cry 5, in a twisted version of Hope County, Montana for a brand-new experience inspired by the roguelite genre. Blending action and storytelling, Joseph: Collapse will provide a unique opportunity for players to tap into Joseph’s tortured mind, face off against his former cult followers after his faith has collapsed, and ultimately confront his family members as he struggles to conquer his inner demons.
