Atlus announced that a new title update/patch is now available for Persona 4 Arena on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The patch fixes an assortment of general, game balance, and network issues, in addition to a bug that was preventing some players from obtaining the “Network mode Level 30″ trophy/achievement.

IO Interactive has released a playthrough showcasing and explaining the new multiplayer-mode Contracts. The 18-minute playthrough includes commentary from Hitman: Absolution game director Tore Blystad and Travis Barbour, part of the community team at IO Interactive. Hitman: Absolution is scheduled for release on November 20th.

Electronic Arts announced today that FIFA Soccer 13 reached opening day sales of 353,000 games sold — a 42 percent increase year-over-year on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Fans played 1.4 million online games in the first 24 hours after the game launched, up 35 percent year-over-year.

Bethesda Softworks has released ‘In the Mind of Madness’, the final chapter in three-part Dishonored webisode series entitled ‘The Tales from Dunwall’. ‘In the Mind of Madness’ introduces Piero, a key figure in the city of Dunwall, who also plays a pivotal role in Corvo’s story. Dishonored will be available on October 9th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
Kalypso Media today announced the retail availability of Jagged Alliance: Crossfire, a standalone expansion to Jagged Alliance; Back in Action for PC. The game takes players to the mountainous country of Khanpaa, where they must battle another group of mercenaries who have enslaved the populace for reasons unknown. Players will equip, train and deploy teams of mercs and plan out battles in real-time or in the “plan ‘n go” mode.

Microsoft, Playground Games, and Turn 10 Studios have released a new edition of the Forza Horizon – Behind the Scenes video documentary series. In this latest edition, fans have a chance to explore the open world playground of Colorado, which is the backdrop for all of the automotive action in Forza Horizon.
The Forza Horizon Season Pass is your ticket to access to the Forza Horizon Expansion Pack, available December 18th, along with six game car packs, as they’re released through the next year. Each car pack will include six new vehicles and those who purchase the Season Pass will also get access to five exclusive season pass vehicles and the launch day pack.
The Forza Horizon Season Pass will be available for purchase starting October 23rd on Xbox Live Marketplace for $56.99, representing a 17 percent overall savings as compared to purchasing the content separately.
In addition, the Forza Horizon music list has been revealed. Set against the backdrop of a fictional automotive music festival – the Horizon Festival, the Forza Horizons music list includes over 65 songs spanning more than 60 artists and was curated and created specifically for the game by Rob da Bank, a BBC DJ and creator of the Bestival music festivals in Europe.
