Vblank Entertainment has released the launch trailer for Retro City Rampage. The game will launch October 9th on PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, and for PC via Steam and GOG.com. Retro City Rampage will also be coming soon to Xbox Live Arcade and WiiWare.
Ubisoft has released a developer diary for Assassin’s Creed III Liberation, diving deeper into Aveline de Grandpre, the new setting, and how the full Assassin’s Creed experience is being delivered to the PlayStation Vita. Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation will be available on October 30th.
XSEED Games today announced that the upcoming music and real-time strategy rhythm game, Orgarhythm, will be released on October 23rd on the PlayStation Network as a digital download for the PlayStation Vita. Orgarhythm was developed in Japan by Acquire in conjunction with Neilo, the new studio founded by Takashi Hirai, known for his past work on Space Channel 5 and Rez.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions today announced Guardians of Middle-earth will be available for purchase at select retailers, as well as via download on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network beginning in early December.
The digital versions will be available for $14.99 on PlayStation Network beginning December 4th, and for 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade this fall. Post-launch, downloadable content will also be available digitally, and can be purchased via Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network individually or as a Season Pass. Guardians of Middle-earth will also be available at select retailers for $29.99 for PlayStation 3 beginning December 4th and for Xbox 360 this fall. Included with the retail purchase of the game is pre-paid, discounted access to the digital content offered post-launch.
Digital content will consist of game maps, one bonus gameplay mode and several additional good and evil characters, some of which will be based on key characters in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey motion picture.

Rovio Entertainment and Lucasfilm announced today a new collaboration; Angry Birds Star Wars. Launching for PC and mobile devices on November 8th, the partnership will combine Angry Birds with the characters, stories and settings of Star Wars. From the deserts of Tatooine to the depths of the Death Star, the game will feature the Angry Birds characters starring as the heroes of the Star Wars saga.
The Medal of Honor Warfighter Multiplayer Beta in now live exclusively on Xbox 360. Featuring Warfighter’s Hot Spot multiplayer mode on the Sarajevo Stadium map, EA and Danger Close have released a new gameplay trailer for the beta showcasing the Tier 1 multiplayer mayhem players can expect once they hop in. Medal of Honor Warfighter will be available in stores on October 23rd.
