Square Enix has released a teaser trailer for Nightmare in North Point, the horror-themed DLC for Sleeping Dogs. Nightmare in North Point will be available to download this Halloween, October 31st, from PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Marketplace and Steam.
Last night at its annual fan event, SOE Live, Sony Online Entertainment announced a new licensing and publishing partnership with Runewaker Entertainment to bring the fantasy MMO Dragon’s Prophet to North America. Developed by Runewaker Entertainment, Dragon’s Prophet transports players to the dragon-filled world of Auratia, where they can capture, train and ride dragons.

A free-to-play title with optional content available for purchase in the marketplace, PlanetSide 2 offers a gaming experience where players battle in massive environments alongside and against thousands of players engaging in air and ground combat that spans the planet of Auraxis.
Heroes and Villains will soon have a place to call home as Sony Online Entertainment today announced Home Turf, its sixth downloadable content pack for DC Universe Online. Available in early 2013 for download on the PC and PlayStation 3, Home Turf will introduce customizable housing, providing players with a base of operations, and all-new customizable backdrops for combat.
Along with player housing, Home Turf offers players new missions and boss fights at four iconic locations: Stryker’s Island, Arkham Asylum, Steelworks and Ace Chemicals. Each location will offer players 10 missions to complete for ‘Marks of Triumph,’ which they can use to upgrade their lair and unlock its full potential and benefits.
IO Interactive presents “Introducing Disguises,” the fifth gameplay trailer in the original Introducing series for Hitman: Absolution. Wearing disguises allows Agent 47 to infiltrate his surroundings and blend in with the crowd, while waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Hitman: Absolution will be available on November 20th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

CD Projekt RED today unveiled a beta version of their development kit, called REDkit. This modding toolset uses the studio’s in-house REDengine game engine, which was specially designed to create The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and the studio’s upcoming RPG titles. The REDkit toolset will be available in the first half of 2013 for free to everyone who owns a copy of The Witcher 2.
CD Projekt RED has officially announced the title of its in-development role-playing game. Cyberpunk 2077 will be set in the world created by Mike Pondsmith, one of the fathers of the cyberpunk genre and the creator of the pen-and-paper RPG, Cyberpunk.
Activision has released a “What’s New in Skylanders Giants” trailer. Portal Masters will once again face the evil Portal Master Kaos when Skylanders Giants hits store shelves on October 21st for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and Nintendo 3DS. The game will also launch day and date with the Wii U on November 18th.
