Today, Larian Studios revealed the early access release date for the upcoming RPG, Baldur’s Gate 3. During the “Panel From Hell” livestream, the studio announced they’re aiming for September 30th as the date Steam PC and Stadia players will be able to jump into the first act of the game’s early access content. The panel also went in-depth about Baldur’s Gate 3’s early access content, as well as the journey Larian is soon embarking on with players.
Today, developer Nodding Heads Games and publisher Super.com have launched Raji: An Ancient Epic on the Nintendo Switch. Unveiled during today’s Nintendo’s Indie World event, Raji is an action-adventure game steeped in ancient Indian folklore. In it, players take on the role of the titular Raji, a young girl who has been chosen by the Gods to fend off demonic invaders.
Perfect World Entertainment and Echtra Games today announced that Torchlight III, the light-hearted and fast-paced dungeon crawler, will officially launch this fall on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Those who purchase the Nintendo Switch version, will also be granted an exclusive Red Fairy pet.
On September 23rd, players will be able team up with a friend in Untitled Goose Game, in a new local two-player cooperative mode. Also, with this free update release, Untitled Goose Game will be available for the first time on both Steam and Itch.io, alongside the existing platforms.
Today, Electronic Arts revealed that EA Access and Origin Access Basic have become EA Play, and Origin Access Premier is now EA Play Pro, all with a new look. All the benefits players enjoy (trials of new EA games, 10% savings on digital purchases including full games and a library of titles) aren’t going anywhere. In fact, even more benefits are on the way over the coming months, starting with in-game challenges and monthly reward drops for members on select titles. In addition, on August 31st, EA Play will launch on its fourth platform, with Steam for PC.
Today, Nintendo released a new Indie World video showcasing a variety of indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch this year and next. Highlights of the video include rogue-like dungeon crawler Hades, card-trick adventure game Card Shark and Raji: An Ancient Epic, an action-adventure game inspired by Hindu and Balinese mythology that launches for Nintendo Switch later today. The video also revealed a free two-player update for Untitled Goose Game that is headed to the slapstick-stealth-sandbox game on September 23rd.
Square Enix announced that the third episode of the Outriders Broadcast will air later this month on August 25th. The Broadcast gives players insight into the dark and desperate world of Outriders. Players will learn more about the powers, class customisation systems, and challenging journey that awaits them in the upcoming RPG-Shooter from People Can Fly.
Outriders will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC in Holiday 2020.
Publisher Playstack and developer Cold Symmetry today announced that dark action-RPG, Mortal Shell is available digitally today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store. To mark the arrival, Cold Symmetry revealed a cinematic entitled “The Birth of Solomon”, created by film director Alessandro Pacciani.
Kalypso Media and developer Palindrome Interactive today shared that the ‘Moroia’ update for Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is now available to beta players. The update adds the third and final campaign to the Steam beta and Xbox Game Preview versions of Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars ahead of its release on August 28th.
The Moroia campaign follows the story of the mysterious Moroia clan, allowing players to explore and do battle on the frozen plains of Esain while learning more about the clan’s bloody history.
Also available is the fourth and final featurette which dives into the game’s story, details the inspiration for the narrative and explores the history and the bloody war between the game’s three vampire clans.
2K today revealed the PGA Tour 2K21 launch video, which features a unique group of prominent golf aficionados coming together remotely for the perfect round of socially-distant golf action. PGA Tour 2K21 will be available on August 21st for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
