Electronic Arts announced today that fans will be able to battle nine of the greatest golf legends of all time in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14. The all-new game mode, Legends of the Majors, gives players a chance to travel back through time and relive the history of golf by matching up against the sport’s greatest legends, including Seve Ballesteros, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Sam Snead, Lee Trevino and Tiger Woods. Players can work their way through these legends in various eras and take each of them down to earn their own seat at the table of golf legends.
Hoisting the Claret Jug, breaking Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18 major victories and slipping on the coveted Green Jacket are now all within a player’s reach. In Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, users have a chance to go for the Grand Slam by playing historical events in all four majors, the Masters Tournament, U.S. Open, The Open Championship and the PGA Championship. The game goes on sale March 26th for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, including support for Kinect for Xbox 360 and PlayStation Move.
THQ received approval from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court on the calendar to conduct bidding and complete the sale of the company following an agreement reached between the potential buyer and the committee representing unsecured creditors. The Court approved Clearlake Capital Group, L.P.’s bid for the entire company as the opening bid for an orderly auction process. The Court also approved procedures that allow other interested parties to bid for individual assets or for the entire company, but bids for individual assets will only be considered superior to an aggregate bid for the entire company if the value generated by separate sales were to exceed the price offered by an individual bidder for the entire company.
The new calendar now calls for all bids to be received by January 22 at 9:00am ET. The auction will be held later that day at 3:00pm. The hearing on the sale will be held at 9:30am January 23, and the closing will occur January 24.
2K Games and Firaxis Games announced today that Second Wave content is now available for XCOM: Enemy Unknown for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Second Wave content allows fans to choose a variety of new gameplay modifiers to enhance the experience after completing the main campaign. The Second Wave content is available free of charge and is issued via a downloadable title update.

Codemasters today announced that four new Track Packs are available to download for F1 Race Stars. You can now race around Canada, China, India and Europe.
The new tracks are available today from Xbox Live and Steam, and are already available via PlayStation Network. Each Track Pack is priced at $4.99 (400 Microsoft Points).
Electronic Arts has released a new Dead Space 3 trailer showcasing support for Kinect for Xbox 360. Dead Space 3 will be available on February 5th.
Sony Computer Entertainment America announced today the launch of the Major League Baseball 13 Cover Showdown. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite MLB player to be on the cover of MLB 13 The Show, available exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. This will mark the first time ever in the franchise’s history that fans will decide which MLB superstar will grace the cover of The Show.
The MLB 13 Cover Showdown officially begins today and will conclude on January 11th. Voting takes place at mlb.com/covervote, where fans can send a tweet or make a Facebook post in support of their favorite player. Fans can also vote directly from twitter, just by including an athlete’s unique hashtag in any tweet. Every vote places the fan in their player’s virtual stadium, where they can see tweets and posts from other supporters. Fans can vote once a day. The player with the most fans in their stadium at the end of the week wins the contest and is crowned as the cover athlete of MLB 13 The Show.
On January 8th, Nicki Minaj’s “Whip It” will be available for download from Xbox Live Marketplace or the in-game Dance Central 3 Music Store. Then on January 15th, Pitbull’s “International Love” – featuring vocals by Chris Brown – comes to Dance Central 3. Additionally, Pitbull’s “(Hey Baby) Drop It to The Floor” featuring T-Pain will also be available for download. Both tracks can be purchased individually, or as part of “Pitbull Pack 01.”
The following week, The Wanted’s hit “Glad You Came” will be available for download on January 22nd. Finally, on January 29th, Flo Rida’s “Let It Roll” will be available.
All tracks will be available via Xbox Live Marketplace or the in-game Dance Central 3 Music Store for 240 MS Points each. “Pitbull Pack 01” can be purchased for 400 MS Points.

Namco Bandai today announced that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will be available in stores nationwide on March 5th for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
As a special bonus, first-run copies of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will feature a code to download an exclusive Dragon Ball Z Goku costume for Naruto and collectible trading card.
