At the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas today, Microsoft, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix unveiled the Xbox 360 Tomb Raider Limited Edition Wireless Controller.
Developed in collaboration with artists at Crystal Dynamics, the design of the controller features a two-layer colour finish with laser etching to create a realistic and tactile worn appearance inspired by Lara’s climbing axe and the tourniquets that result from the adventure in her origin story, as told in this latest title. The controller also features a customizable D-pad that switches from a “plus” design to a “disc” pattern, and a wireless range of up to 30-feet.
In addition, those who purchase the Xbox 360 Tomb Raider Limited Edition Wireless Controller will receive a download token for an Xbox 360 exclusive playable character known as the devious Scavenger Archer. The controller will be available timed to the launch of the game and is priced at $69.99.

Deep Silver today unveiled the gory details about a special Collector’s Edition for the zombie action RPG, Dead Island Riptide. The Dead Island Riptide Rigor Mortis Edition contents were voted in by the Dead Island community in a survey last fall.
In the Rigor Mortis Edition, Dead Island fans receive their very own zombie hula girl bobble figurine, a bloody zombie arm bottle opener magnet and a bungalow key with a branded wood keychain. In addition, the Rigor Mortis Edition will include a copy of the Dead Island Riptide Special Edition for console, with extra DLC content and a digital strategy map. All of this is embalmed in a Dead Island replica suitcase.
Dead Island Riptide Rigor Mortis Edition is available for pre-order now at retailers nationwide for $79.99. Dead Island Riptide will be released on April 23rd for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
