Paradox Interactive today announced that Impire, the dungeon strategy PC game from Cyanide Studio, will launch on February 14th. Two pieces of bonus DLC will be granted to players who pre-order Impire, including the “Creatures of the Night” and “Black and White” packs.
In addition, Paradox has released a playthrough for Impire, dubbed “Imps Exposed”, showing several minutes of footage from the first scenario of the dungeon management title.
Nintendo today announced that Fire Emblem: Awakening is now available in stores nationwide for the Nintendo 3DS. Fire Emblem: Awakening follows the story of Lord Chrom as he bands together with a growing army of brave companions to save the world from a rising evil.
In addition to the stand-alone game, a Fire Emblem: Awakening Nintendo 3DS hardware bundle launches exclusively at Best Buy and Future Shop in Canada. The bundle includes the game pre-installed on a blue Nintendo 3DS system emblazoned with Fire Emblem artwork. It also includes a 4GB SD memory card. The bundle is available for $199.99.
Dance Central 3 expands the dance party music library this February with tracks from One Direction, Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding, and B.o.B.
Starting tomorrow, February 5, “What Makes You Beautiful,” the debut single and one of the biggest songs of 2012 from One Direction, comes to the Dance Central Music Store.
On February 12, two tracks from Justin Bieber will be part of the “Justin Bieber Dance Pack 01.” The pack will feature two tracks from Bieber’s Platinum-selling 2012 record, Believe: “Beauty And A Beat,” which features Nicki Minaj, and “All Around The World,” which features Ludacris. Tracks can be purchased individually or as part of the “Justin Bieber Dance Pack 01”.
The following week, the triple platinum hit “Lights” from Ellie Goulding will be available for download on February 19.
Finally, on February 26, B.o.B.’s “Airplanes,” which features guest vocals by Paramore’s Haley Williams, will be available.
All tracks will be available via Xbox Live Marketplace or the in-game Dance Central 3 Music Store for 240 Microsoft Points each. Justin Bieber Dance Pack 01 can be purchased for 400 Microsoft Points.
Paradox Interactive today announced a new expansion for Crusader Kings II. The forthcoming expansion, titled Crusader Kings II: The Old Gods, will add a number of requested features to the game, including the ability to play as a Pagan or Zoroastrian ruler, expanding empires through war, pillaging, and ruthless brutality. Players will also be able to begin their in-game reign as far back as the year 867 AD. Crusader Kings II: The Old Gods is scheduled to release in Q2 2013.

To mark the 25th anniversary of the Madden NFL franchise, EA Sports today announced Madden NFL 25, launching on August 27th.
To celebrate the announcement, EA Sports and ESPN also announced a new Madden NFL Cover Vote starting March 11th on ESPN.com that will pit the old-school legends of the NFL against the new-school’s biggest stars. A bracket of 32 all-time NFL greats will go head-to-head against one another, as will 32 modern NFL superstars, with the winners of each bracket facing off in the final round.
Voting will start on Monday, March 11th on ESPN.com/MaddenVote, and fans can tune into a special edition of SportsNation at 4:00pm EST on ESPN2 for the live unveil of the brackets. Last year, fans cast 20 million votes to name Calvin Johnson, Jr. as the cover athlete of Madden NFL 13.
The Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox, featuring a $1 million Call of Duty: Black Ops II tournament, will take place in Hollywood, CA April 5-7. Activision and Treyarch, in partnership with Xbox, Major League Gaming and the Electronic Sports League will bring together 32 of the world’s most skilled multiplayer teams on the Xbox 360 to compete head-to-head in Call of Duty: Black Ops II in a live-streamed tournament to be broadcast to the masses.
Beginning today, players interested in participating in the tournament can go to https://elite.callofduty.com/esports and register for a free Call of Duty Elite account. Once registered, teams of four can vie for entry into the Call of Duty Championship by competing in the February season of League Play in Call of Duty: Black Ops II on Xbox Live, which opens today. Following the close of the February season, the top eight eligible teams will earn spots in the Call of Duty Championship, including a trip to Hollywood this April to compete for the $1 million tournament purse.
Additionally, teams competing in the recently announced MLG 2013 Pro Circuit featuring Call of Duty: Black Ops II will vie for a chance to enter the Call of Duty Championship. At the MLG Winter Championship, March 15-17, in Dallas, Texas, the top eight teams will earn trips to Hollywood to play against the best Call of Duty players in the world. Joining them will be eight winning teams from the ESL’s European Finals taking place March 16-17 in Cologne, Germany.
Remaining seats in the 32-team tournament will be made available internationally across Asia, Australia, and Brazil, with territory-specific qualification details to be revealed locally as they become available.

After recently announcing their new digital publishing branch – D11 Games – Double Eleven today revealed that they will be working with Mode 7 on a console version of Frozen Synapse.
