Microsoft and Epic Games today announced that Gears of War: Judgment has shipped to stores nationwide exclusively for Xbox 360.
Set years prior to the events of the previous Gears of War trilogy, Judgment follows Kilo Squad, a team of battle-hardened warriors comprised of the Damon Baird, Augustus “The Cole Train” Cole and new characters Sofia Hendrick and Garron Paduk, as they attempt to save the besieged city of Halvo Bay from a terrifying new enemy.

Square Enix today released three new multiplayer maps for Tomb Raider in the Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack, coming first to Xbox 360. Tomb Raider fans can purchase the DLC from Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 Microsoft Points.
Each of the three maps (Scavenger Caverns, Cliff Shantytown and The Burning Village) are playable on all four multiplayer game modes and see the island’s indigenous Scavengers pitted against the crew members from the shipwrecked Endurance.
Tecmo Koei today announced that Dead or Alive 5 Plus, which brings the fighting style of the Dead or Alive series to PlayStation Vita with all new-features and new martial arts techniques, has shipped to stores nationwide. Additionally, the game’s demo is also available for download via the PlayStation Store, with all progress gained in the demo being transferrable to the full game.
Capcom today announced that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is now available in stores nationwide for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and also as a digital download in the Nintendo eShop.
Hunters who own both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U versions of the game will be able to transfer their own personal save data from the Wii U version to their copy on Nintendo 3DS, and vice versa. In order to do so, players must download programs in the Nintendo eShop for both systems. From the Nintendo 3DS, the program is called “Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Data Transfer Program” and from the Wii U, it is the “Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Packet Relay Tools for Nintendo 3DS.”
Capcom will be supporting the title with free of charge weekly downloadable quests for several months after launch, the first of which are available this week. Releasing in April, a system update will add online cross region functionality.
2K Games, Gearbox Software and the Academy of Art University today announced Borderlands Cooperative, a partnership that will provide students of the university with once-in-a-lifetime career development opportunities. With the guidance of their professors, and resources from 2K and Gearbox, students across all disciplines will come together to create an original animated short film set in the Borderlands universe. The animated short will be available by the end of 2013.
Capcom today revealed new information about the upcoming release of Resident Evil Revelations for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U.
Resident Evil newcomer Rachel, who made her debut in the 3DS release of Resident Evil Revelations, will be joining Hunk as a brand new playable character in Raid Mode.
Resident Evil Revelations features two brand new enemies, including the Wall Blister and a surprise new creature that appears in Raid Mode once players have reached a certain level.
Wii U players will be able to take advantage of the system’s unique features with three different styles of play. Using the screen on the GamePad players can quickly access their map and weapons, or switch the GamePad out for a Wii U pro controller. Alternatively, players are able to transfer all the horror to the GamePad as the title utilizes Off TV play.
The Miiverse feature will offer Wii U players further exclusives. Players can post a dying message on the Game Over screen for other players around the world to see. The ‘Creatures Voice’ function allows players to personalize the thoughts of enemies in Raid Mode to taunt their friends.
Resident Evil Revelations supports Residentevil.net with online events and in-game connectivity planned for after launch. Exclusive dioramas of the game’s characters and enemies can be collected through the online service. Earn custom parts and weapons for use in Raid Mode and items for Campaign Mode.
Resident Evil Revelations will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U on May 21st.

Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios today revealed further details regarding Beta Weekend 3 for the Dungeons & Dragons MMORPG, Neverwinter.
Starting at 12:00 p.m. (PDT) on Friday, March 22nd, players with early access to Neverwinter’s Beta Weekend 3 will experience new content, including the first opportunity to check out Neverwinter’s PvP system and the chance to explore the Pirates’ Skyhold and Icespire Peak Adventure Zones. In addition, players may take control of the new Great Weapon Fighter class. An increased level cap of 50, alongside many other improvements based directly on feedback from previous Beta Weekends, promises to make Neverwinter’s Beta Weekend 3 the best yet.
Nintendo today announced that LEGO City: Undercover for the Wii U is now available in stores nationwide.
In LEGO City: Undercover, players assume the identity of undercover detective Chase McCain as he explores the open world of LEGO City in pursuit of criminal mastermind Rex Fury. The Wii U GamePad controller is represented in-game as a state-of-the-art gadget used by Chase and the other members of the LEGO City Police Department. With it, players can communicate with police dispatcher Ellie Phillips, access the world map or place waypoints using the touch screen. Players can also use the GamePad to scan the environment to locate hidden clues or even listen in on criminals.
