Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall DLC Released

Bethesda Softworks today announced that The Knife of Dunwall, the second add-on pack for Dishonored, is now available via Xbox Live and Steam, and will be available later today on PlayStation Store for $9.99 (800 MS Points).

In The Knife of Dunwall you take on the role of Daud, the assassin who killed the Empress, and access his weapons, gadgets, allies and supernatural abilities. After assassinating the Empress, and forever changing the fate of Dunwall, you embark on a search for redemption.

SMT: Demon Summoner: Soul Hackers Ships

Atlus today announced that Shim Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is now available in stores nationwide and in the Nintendo eShop. Originally released in 1997 only for the Japanese market, the new release of Soul Hackers is exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. Pre-orders and gamers who purchase the first printing of the title at launch will receive a limited edition music CD, which consists of six fan-voted tracks inspired by the original Soul Hackers soundtrack.

Dark Souls II Shield Design Contest

Namco Bandai announced that a Dark Souls II shield design contest will begin today on the game’s official Facebook page.

The submission and voting period for shield designs will begin today and run through May 13th. Beginning May 14th no further submissions will be taken and the contest enters into a “voting only” phase until May 20th. On May 20th the shield designs that receive the most fan votes will be submitted for a final round of judging by the Dark Souls II development team at FromSoftware in Japan. FromSoftware will select the final six winning shield designs to be included within the final Dark Souls II game. The winners will be announced at San Diego Comic Con taking place from July 18th through the 21st.

The six lucky winners will be able to engage in battle with their friends online while proudly bearing the shield of their own design. Other players will also be able to carry the shields designed by their compatriots into battle.

• Check out the Shield Design Facebook application
• Download the blank shield template
• Create up to three original designs
• Submit your finished designs via Facebook before May 14, 2013

Dark Souls II will be available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Sega and Disney Announce Castle of Illusion

Sega, in collaboration with Disney Interactive, today announced the upcoming digital release of Castle of Illusion featuring Mickey Mouse, a complete re-imagining of the Mega Drive/Genesis side-scrolling adventure first release in 1990.

Completely rebuilt from the ground up, Castle of Illusion will feature new visuals and gameplay mechanics. Fans will enjoy the original storyline as they help Mickey save Minnie from the evil witch, Mizrabel.

Castle of Illusion will be available for digital download on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC this summer.

Out of the Park Baseball 14 Released

Out of the Park Developments today announced that Out of the Park Baseball 14, the latest installment of the baseball management simulation series, is now available for purchase for $39.99 from the game’s official website.

Rise of the Hutt Cartel Launches

BioWare and LucasArts today announced that the first digital expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic, Rise of the Hutt Cartel, is now available for $19.99, or at half price for current subscribers.

In Rise of the Hutt Cartel, players will explore a new storyline on the new planet of Makeb. Here players will continue their faction storylines as they fight against a nefarious new threat, the Hutt Cartel, attempting a take-over of the planet and all its resources.

Rise of the Triad – Multiplayer Gameplay Video

Apogee Software has released 18 minutes of Rise of the Triad multiplayer gameplay footage. Rise of the Triad will be available for PC this summer.

Splinter Cell Blacklist – Abilities Trialer

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Splinter Cell Blacklist showcasing Sam Fisher’s abilities. Splinter Cell Blacklist will be available on August 20th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC.

Bethesda Moving On from Skyrim

Bethesda Game Studios confirmed today that the team is shifting focus off of Skyrim and onto their next major project. Minor updates will still be released for Skyrim, but there will be no new content or DLC produced.

NHL 14 Revealed
