The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon Expansion Now Available

Today, Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment announced that The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon is now available. The first of two story expansions has players setting off to investigate the mysterious downfall of the Gorgon Project.

Peril on Gorgon is now available individually for $14.99 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Windows Store and Epic Games Store, or in a bundle for $24.99 as part of The Outer Worlds Expansion Pass, which will also include The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos, the second expansion set to launch next year. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass Users will receive a 10% discount on the DLC. The expansion will be coming later to Nintendo Switch.

DIRT 5 Confirmed as Launch Title for Xbox Series S/X

The latest DIRT 5 gameplay teaser trailer takes players to New York, with classic Ford and Peugeot rally cars battling on the frozen East River. Codemasters also confirmed that DIRT 5 will be a launch title on Xbox Series S/X, coming November 10th. DIRT 5 will release on November 6th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, followed by PlayStation 5 later this year. A Google Stadia version will release in early 2021.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Release Date Moves Up to November 10th

Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, will release November 10th on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on PC, as well as on UPlay+ and Stadia. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion will both be launch titles on the Xbox Series X | S, and will release on PlayStation 5 upon the launch of the console. Watch Dogs: Legion will release on October 29th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on PC, as well as on UPlay+ and Stadia.

Xbox Series X and S Launch November 10th, Starting at $24.99 a Month with Xbox All Access

Microsoft today announced that Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will launch globally on November 10th, with pre-orders starting September 22nd. In addition to the traditional option of purchasing the new generation of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S at $499 USD / $599 CDN and $299 USD / $379 CDN respectively, Microsoft is introducing Xbox All Access, offering consumers a next generation Xbox and 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate starting at $24.99 USD a month, with no upfront costs. The Xbox All Access program will be available in 12 countries this holiday, with more to come in 2021. With Xbox All Access, Xbox Series S will be available starting from $24.99 USD a month for 24 months and Xbox Series X will be available starting from $34.99 USD a month for 24 months.

Get EA Play with Xbox Game Pass for No Additional Cost

Microsoft is teaming up with Electronic Arts to provide Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC members with an EA Play membership at no additional cost starting this holiday. This means Ultimate members can enjoy EA Play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Windows 10 PCs, and Xbox Game Pass for PC members get EA Play on Windows 10. Formerly known as EA Access and Origin Access, EA Play will bring more than 60 of EA’s console and PC games like FIFA 20, Titanfall 2 and Need for Speed Heat to Game Pass.

Introducing Xbox Series S, Launching November 10th for $299 USD

Microsoft today announced the Xbox Series S console, launching November 10th with a SRP of $299 USD / $379 CDN. Featuring a compact new design in Robot White, the all-digital Xbox Series S is the smallest Xbox ever created. Xbox Series S includes Microsoft’s new Xbox Wireless Controller, also in Robot White. This controller will also be available as a standalone purchase this holiday.

Xbox Series S delivers the same next generation speed and performance that define Xbox Series X. It is similar in CPU and has the identical I/O performance as Xbox Series X, making it easier for developers to deliver the same great performance, while rendering at a lower resolution. Xbox Series S delivers 4x the processing power of an Xbox One console and supports experiences up to 120fps, with support for hardware-accelerated DirectX Raytracing and Variable Rate Shading. DiRT 5 Launch Date Moves to November

Codemasters today confirmed that DiRT 5 will now be released on November 6th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The revised launch date will allow Codemasters to release all versions of the game in a shorter timeframe, with the next generation of console launches expected for the holiday season.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time Drops Game Demo Next Week

Just ahead of the official launch of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time on October 2nd, fans who digitally pre-order the brand-new Crash game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be among the first to play via a hands-on demo on September 16th.

Activision and Toys For Bob are offering players an early look at two levels from Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, letting them play as Crash or the fiendish Neo Cortex. Additionally, fans will experience first-hand the power of wielding some of the new Quantum Masks – Kupuna-Wa to control time and Lani-Loli to phase objects in and out of existence. Those that have pre-ordered the game digitally past and present will be able to download the demo until the game’s global launch.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Launches for Switch on November 20th

A century before the events of the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Great Calamity occurred. Hyrule was plunged into darkness, devastated by an evil force which transformed the kingdom forever. While the Great Calamity is touched on in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, fans have never experienced what happened before that catastrophic event … until now.

In the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity game, which launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 20th, players will be transported to the time before the Great Calamity happened, participating in battles against a backdrop of familiar locations in Hyrule before they were destroyed. The game stars recognizable characters from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild like Link and Zelda, as well as other characters like the four Champions, who will be playable for the very first time in the Hyrule Warriors series.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is Out Now

THQ Nordic today announced that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is now available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Steam users who own the original version of Kingdoms of Amalur will get a 50% loyalty discount on buying the new version. This is in place for both editions of the new version: the Standard edition, but also for the Fate Edition which will include a new expansion Fatesworn, set to release in 2021.
