Zen Studios today announced a standalone Star Wars Pinball game for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. The downloadable game features the initial three-table pack released in February for Zen Pinball 2: Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Players who already own Star Wars Pinball for Zen Pinball 2 can download the standalone game absolutely free. Additionally, players who download Star Wars Pinball will be entitled to the same tables in Zen Pinball 2 at no extra charge. All Star Wars Pinball content is Cross Buy entitled on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
Players will choose to support the Galactic Empire or the Rebel Alliance with high scores as the Star Wars Pinball community fights for the Balance of the Force. The main game user interface will change dynamically, based on how the community chooses to support each side.
Additional game features include an XP progression system allowing players to move up the ranks based on Galactic Empire or Rebel Alliance support, stereoscopic 3D, Force Score and friends-based Team Score leaderboards, and several multiplayer modes.
Star Wars Pinball will be available for $9.99.
Bethesda Softworks today announced a new title, Wolfenstein: The New Order, an action-adventure shooter slated for release in Q4 2013. Developed by MachineGames, Wolfenstein: The New Order is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PlayStatoin 3, PC and next generation consoles. Square Enix today announced a limited pre-order offer for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. Set for release on September 10th exclusively for the PlayStation 3, customers who pre-order the game will receive a limited edition art book that gives them access to a behind-the-scenes-look at the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The 24-page, hardcover art book will treat fans to character renders, promotional art and artwork of the different Disney worlds from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Electronic Arts and Insomniac Games today announced that the demo for the co-op shooter Fuse is now available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
Taking place midway through the game, the demo gives players a chance to play with and level-up all four Overstrike operatives along with their Xenotech weapons. The demo supports 1-4 players with online and split-screen drop-in-and-drop-out-co-op.
Fuse will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 28th.

The Walt Disney Company and Electronic Arts today announced a new multi-year exclusive licensing agreement to develop and publish new games based on Star Wars characters and storylines.
Under the agreement, EA will develop and publish new Star Wars titles for a core gaming audience, spanning all interactive platforms and game genres, while Disney will retain certain rights to develop new titles within the mobile, social, tablet and online game categories.

EA Sports, the NHLPA, and the NHL announced today the 16 NHL players who have advanced to the next round of the NHL 14 Cover Vote. Beginning today, the campaign shifts to a 16-player bracket format as players compete in head-to-head matchups for a spot in the quarterfinals. Fans have voted more than 12 million times through the first two rounds, with daily vote totals up nearly 70% over the NHL 13 Cover Vote Campaign.
Fans can vote an unlimited number of times at NHL.com/CoverVote. Voting for this round closes on May 12th at 11:59pm ET. The winner of the cover vote campaign will be revealed as the NHL 14 Cover Athlete during the 2013 Stanley Cup Final.
The Round of 16 Bracket includes two Original Six matchups: the Boston Bruins vs. Toronto Maple Leafs (Tyler Seguin vs. James van Riemsdyk) and the Montreal Canadiens vs. Toronto Maple Leafs (P.K.
