Gazillion Entertainment today announced the launch of Marvel Heroes, the free-to-play action-MMORPG set in the Marvel Universe. Created by David Brevik, Marvel Heroes lets gamers suit up as their favorite Marvel Super Heroes, including Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Hulk, Captain America and Spider-Man, as they battle through an original story crafted by Marvel super-scribe Brian Michael Bendis. Marvel Heroes is now available as a free digital download for PCs at www.marvelheroes.com.
At launch, Marvel Heroes will feature 21 Super Heroes, each with unique and extensive leveling systems, power trees and equipment. Players can choose to wear costumes from over 70 years of Marvel history, including costumes from Marvel’s recent theatrical releases Marvel’s The Avengers and Iron Man 3. At any time, players can swap between their favorite Marvel Super Heroes on the fly. Set across locations from the Marvel Universe, Marvel Heroes offers fast-paced game play with a robust crafting system, player-versus-player (PvP) combat, End Game, and much more.
Gazillion will be frequently releasing updates to add new content to the free-to-play experience, including additional story missions, new playable Marvel Super Heroes, end-game content and much more.
Disney Interactive and developer Harmonix today announced that Fantasia: Music Evolved, a musical motion video game inspired by Disney’s classic animated film Fantasia, will be available for Xbox One and Kinect for Xbox 360 in 2014.
In this game, players enter the magical realms of Fantasia, selected by the legendary sorcerer Yen Sid to hone their musical and magical prowess as his new apprentice. Fantasia: Music Evolved takes players on an interactive and motion-controlled journey through worlds of music and magic, unleashing their creativity along the way.
Using Kinect motion control technology and natural, controller-free gameplay, players will control the music flow from some of the industry’s biggest acts, including electronic DJ and producer AVICII, chart-topper Bruno Mars, and rock royalty Queen. Fantasia: Music Evolved gives players creative power to change the mix of their favorite songs in real-time, choosing between the original recording and new remixed versions, or adding new layers of music via magical manipulators that allow them to change music in exciting and surprising new ways.

MonkeyPaw Games, in partnership with Gaijinworks, today announced that the J-RPG sequel Class of Heroes 2 is now available for download from the PlayStation Store. The newly localized digital release, playable on the PlayStation Vita and PSP, has been fully translated and boasts gameplay tweaks over the original Japanese release.
Capcom today announced that the third-person action adventure title, Remember Me is now available in stores nationwide for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game will also be available to download digitally starting from today via the PlayStation Store and Steam, with a Games on Demand version for the Xbox 360 to follow.
Square Enix has released the first trailer for Murdered: Soul Suspect, its upcoming action/adventure game.
Murdered: Soul Suspect sees players take the role of Ronan O’Connor, a detective with a checkered past, whose life is brought to an untimely end by a brutal and relentless killer. Unable to move on and stuck in the limbo world of Dusk, he won’t find peace until he can bring his killer to justice from the afterlife.
Using his new-found supernatural abilities, Ronan is free to explore the town of Salem, Massachusetts, from his shadowy afterlife. Unable to communicate with the detectives on his case, Ronan must read the minds of the living, influencing their thoughts and actions. As part of his investigation, he must interrogate the ghosts of Salem’s past citizens to piece together the puzzle, while battling demonic spirits to save his soul and uncover the truth about who is responsible for his death.
Murdered: Soul Suspect will be available early 2014 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
Microsoft and 343 Industries today revealed Halo: Spartan Assault, a top-down action shooter available this July for $6.99 only on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
Set between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4, Halo: Spartan Assault explores the first missions of the Spartan Ops program and dives deeper into the backstory of Human-Covenant wars. Play through the eyes of either Commander Sarah Palmer or Spartan Davis stationed aboard the UNSC Infinity as they fight in never-before-seen battles against Covenant forces.
With 25 unique missions, the single-player experience allows you to compete against friends in Leaderboards or hone your skills with Weekly Challenges. Replay the missions to collect more than 40 in-game Achievements and Medals.
For fans who already have a prospering Spartan career aboard the UNSC Infinity, Halo: Spartan Assault lets you earn experience points, all-new Achievements, and emblems for your Halo 4 Spartan, with additional integration features available after launch.
In addition, 343 Industries has teamed up with Dark Horse Comics to create Halo: Initiation, a 3-part comic series which reveals the story of how Commander Sarah Palmer became a Spartan-IV and leads directly into the missions of Halo: Spartan Assault.
Firefly Studios today announced the next entry in their Stronghold series will be revealed at E3 2013. Stronghold Crusader 2 will be shown to press at E3, with the first screenshots and game trailer released to the public shortly after.
Currently scheduled for release in Q4 2013, Stronghold Crusader 2 will be self-published by Firefly Studios. Later this year the team plans to seek additional funds through game-focused crowd sourcing service Gambitious, with funding going towards polish, a closed backer-only beta and additional game content.
Bethesda Softworks today announced that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition is now available in stores nationwide. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition includes the original game, official add-ons – Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn – and added features like combat cameras, mounted combat, Legendary difficulty mode, and Legendary skills – enabling you to master every perk and level up your skills infinitely.
Disney Interactive has released the official trailer for the Disney’s Planes video game.
Disney’s Planes is a flying adventure inspired by the upcoming Disney animated comedy adventure film. The game will be available exclusively for Nintendo platforms including the Wii U and Wii as well as the Nintendo 3DS and DS on August 6th.
Konami today announced that it will stream its third annual Pre-E3 show in multiple languages. Debuting at 10am PT / 1pm ET on June 6th, Konami’s “Pre-E3 Show 2013” will be streamed in seven different languages including English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and Japanese subtitles for those countries.
During this year’s show, Konami will update fans and gaming enthusiasts by releasing company news, game trailers and exclusive interviews all prior to E3. The company’s Pre-E3 show will provide insight into upcoming products from its social games studios, feature behind the scenes footage and interviews for the next addition to the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise with Producer Kei Masuda, and provide the inside scoop on Hideo Kojima’s next title in the Metal Gear Solid series, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Exclusive first-time access with developer MercurySteam and a brand new gameplay trailer for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be unveiled, in addition to other major company announcements.
