Bethesda Softworks today announced that Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches, the final add-on pack for the first-person action game, will be available on August 13th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC for $9.99 (800 MS Points).
In The Brigmore Witches, continue your journey as the legendary assassin, Daud, and bring his twisted narrative that began with The Knife of Dunwall to a close. After discovering the identity and intentions of Delilah, the leader of the Brigmore Witch coven, you set out to disrupt her from completing a powerful ritual that will spell your doom. Having already been betrayed by your lieutenant, Billie Lurk, you must rely on feuding gang factions—the Dead Eels and the Hatters—to negotiate your way through previously unseen districts of Dunwall en route to Delilah’s stronghold. Regardless of the way you reach your destination, one thing is for certain – you will finally answer for your treacherous actions and fall before the mercy, or punishment, of the Royal Bodyguard and Assassin, Corvo Attano. Additionally, your power, weapon and item upgrades, Chaos level, and player actions from The Knife of Dunwall will carry over via a compatible save file option.
Jim Walls Reloaded, the independent game company headed by Sierra veterans Jim Walls and Robert Lindsley, today announced a new police adventure game, Precinct. As a spiritual successor to the Police Quest series, Precinct aims to bring back the classic Sierra-style adventure formula and update it into a modern police adventure. To raise funds for the project and ensure full creative freedom, the team has launched a new Kickstarter campaign with a $500,000 development funding goal.
Precinct takes the player on a realistic police adventure through the streets of Fraser Canyon. Assuming the role of Officer Maxwell Jones, the player will take on the many challenges facing police officers today. Written by adventure game designer Jim Walls (Police Quest, Codename: Iceman) and some of today’s brightest Hollywood talent, Precinct features a crime story based on true accounts of real police cases. Playing in the first-person perspective, Precinct’s real-time 3D environments and gameplay deliver significant realism to the classic police adventure style Jim is famous for creating.
Precinct is planned as a five games series, with the first game being released in Q3 2014. Precinct will be released as digital download for PC with distribution across platforms such as Steam and www.precinctgame.com. Additional Kickstarter stretch goals will allow for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
