XSEED Games today announced that Killer is Dead, the latest title from Kadokawa Games and game creator Goichi Suda and his Grasshopper Manufacture studio, has shipped to stores nationwide for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. All physical launch copies of the game come packaged with an 80-page hardcover art book, a soundtrack CD containing 25 songs, and the ‘Smooth Operator’ add-on content pack containing bonus in-game goods including ‘Gigolo Glasses,’ an alternate costume for Vivienne and Mika, a bonus ‘Gigolo Mission’ with Betty, and an additional episode with the vampiric Sebastian. The basic version will also be launching today digitally on the PlayStation Store and on the Xbox Live Games on Demand service starting September 13th.
Nordic Games today announced that Ancestry Of Lies, the second chapter of the point and click adventure The Raven – Legacy Of A Master Thief, is now available for PC via Steam, and will be available later this year in digital format for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
In the second chapter, players experience the ’heist’ part of the story for the first time and switch perspectives.
NIS America today announced that Nippon Ichi Software’s action RPG The Witch and the Hundred Knight will release on the PlayStation 3 in early 2014.
The company also announced that the title for the game has been updated to The Witch and the Hundred Knight in order to better fit with the events of the story.
Activision and Treyarch have released a new Call of Duty: Black Ops II Apocalypse gameplay video, the fourth and final DLC map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
As part of the global “The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses” tour for 2013, the concert will revisit the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on September 7th with Second Quest, including new material exploring additional chapters from the Zelda franchise. Those new to Symphony of the Goddesses will also have the opportunity to experience the orchestrated four-movement symphonic work from last season, which chronicles fan-favourite moments from the franchise’s history.
To commemorate the launch of new Zelda adventures in 2013, Second Quest patrons will be treated to special previews of upcoming titles: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for the Wii U, as well as The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, the Nintendo 3DS sequel to the Super Nintendo classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Fans will also have the opportunity to have their photo taken in-person with Link.

XSEED Games today announced that they will release a Limited Edition of the action RPG title, Ys: Memories of Celceta, alongside the standard retail version for the PlayStation Vita when the game releases later this holiday season. Celebrating over a quarter of a century of the Ys series, the Ys: Memories of Celceta Silver Anniversary Edition will come packaged with a host of celebratory bonus items including a 3-CD collection of original and arranged music spanning the entire history of the franchise, as well as game-specific items such as a cloth map detailing the lands of Celceta, a logo-emblazoned compass, and ‘Adol’s Travel Journal’ containing adventuring strategies and artwork, all within an exclusive commemorative package. The Silver Anniversary Edition will carry a SRP of $59.99, while the standard game will retail for $39.99.
