Devolver Digital and Kuno Interactive today announced the launch of its tower defense strategy game, Defense Technica, available on PC via Steam and other digital download platforms for $14.99.
Electronic Arts today announced a multi-year partnership with action sports athlete Ken Block and Need for Speed. Block will become Racing Advisor for the franchise. The Need for Speed franchise is also sponsoring Block and his Ford Fiesta ST 2013 racing car and will be working with him on the release of Gymkhana SIX, the next installment of the viral video franchise, via the Need for Speed website and YouTube channel.
Need for Speed Rivals will be available on November 19th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC via Origin, and on November 22nd for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Sony Computer Entertainment Canada announced today that an exclusive Canadian bundle with a new “Azurite” blue coloured PlayStation 3 console and EA Sports’ NHL 14 video game will be released this week.
The Canada only bundle will include an “Azurite” blue PlayStation 3 console with 250GB of memory, a matching blue Dual Shock 3 controller, and a copy of NHL 14 for $249.99. It will be available exclusively to EB Games retail and online stores starting this week, and available at most major electronics retailers starting mid-November.

Tecmo Koei today announced that the latest installment in the Atelier series, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, the direct sequel to the last title, Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk, will be released on March 11th exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
For the first time in the Atelier series, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky lets players choose their main character, either Escha or Logy, which will offer unique story perspectives and gameplay experiences. Escha’s story focuses on the traditional alchemy RPG and everyday adventures of an alchemist that the Atelier series is known for, whereas Logy’s story is a more serious adventure focused on world exploration.
