Zen Studios today announced that Zen Pinball 2 will release on PlayStation 4 on December 17th, featuring a selection of tables from the previous generation’s table library. Marvel’s Doctor Strange will join Zen Pinball 2 on PS4 as launch content. The table will be available for $2.99. Additionally, the fantasy themed Sorcerer’s Lair table will be free for all players on PS4.
Zen Pinball 2 will launch on PlayStation 4 as a free platform download with a total of 20 tables available as paid DLC. Users can purchase tables inside the Zen Pinball 2 platform, including the following tables and packs at launch:
Table packs will cost $9.99 and individual tables will cost $2.99 on PlayStation 4. Zen Studios has big plans for pinball in 2014, including more Star Wars Pinball and Marvel Pinball tables, as well as tables based on other brands.
Nordic Games today announced that The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief is now available on Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 for $9.99 per episode. All three episodes of The Raven, ‘The Eye of the Sphinx’, ‘Ancestry Of Lies’, and ‘A Murder Of Ravens’ are being released simultaneously. The game will also be released on PlayStation Network in Q1 2014.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced that the Initiation Challenge Map Add-On for Batman: Arkham Origins is available now on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Steam and Nintendo eShop for $6.99.
The Initiation Add-On focuses on Bruce Wayne before he donned his cowl, and introduces a new challenge campaign with four challenge maps and two original skins – Initiation Bruce Wayne and Vigilante Bruce Wayne. Players who have purchased the Batman: Arkham Origins Season Pass and are connected to the Internet will have instant access to the content.
Set high in the Paektu-San Mountains of North Korea, the Initiation Add-On follows a young Bruce Wayne as he faces his ultimate test. Players will embark upon a series of challenge maps that test their martial arts training across exotic locales, including a bamboo forest and a mountain top monastery. Fans will face fresh enemies along with a final test to prove their worthiness to Bruce’s greatest and most pitiless teacher, Kirigi.
BioWare and LucasArts today granted early access for current subscribers to the new free-to-play Star Wars: The Old Republic Digital Expansion, Galactic Starfighter. The second Digital Expansion introduces 12v12 Player-vs-Player (PvP) free-flight dogfighting and factional battles as the war between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic expands into space. Players will compete and advance to earn experience, in the form of “requisition” to unlock new weapons, powers and abilities to customize their Starfighter.
Anyone who becomes a subscriber will be able to jump right into Galactic Starfighter and become part of the factional combat and free flight PvP experience (no minimum character level requirements apply). In addition to gaining early access to Galactic Starfighter, subscribers will receive exclusive rewards, including custom paint jobs, two pilot suits and two titles (“Test Pilot” and “First Galactic Starfighter”). Preferred Status Players will be granted access to Galactic Starfighter on January 14th, before the Digital Expansion becomes available to the public beginning on February 4th.
