Get acquainted with the brand-new features of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster in this new trailer, including the completely remastered visuals, updated music, and new content. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be available on March 18th for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
On the company’s website, Ken Levine announced that Irrational Games is being shut down. Levine and select members of the Irrational team “will be starting a smaller, more entrepreneurial endeavor at Take-Two”, focusing on “narrative-driven games for the core gamer that are highly replayable”. 2K will retain the rights to the BioShock franchise.
Deep Silver today announced that Killer is Dead is making its way to PC. Killer is Dead – Nightmare Edition will be available for retail and digital download on May 9th for $19.99, and feature exclusive extra content.
The additional content includes a new difficulty mode called Nightmare Mode. In this mode, enemies can only be defeated using the following attacks: Adrenaline Burst, Dodge Burst, and Headshots. Players will also not be able to use the Final Judgement finisher (QTE mode) to defeat enemies. Also included is the Smooth Operator Pack for console, unlocked after Episode 3. Additionally there is a new Theater Mode where players can rewatch cutscenes and get extended background information on characters, helping to unravel the story after the first playthrough.
Warhorse Studios, developers of the Kickstarter-funded Kingdom Come: Deliverance, today announced their upcoming title will officially be coming out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
At the American International Toy Fair, Disney Interactive game show attendees a sneak peek at the Disney Infinity Phineas and Ferb Toy Box Pack, which will be available for consoles and PC beginning April 1st.
Featuring the Phineas and Agent P characters from Disney Channel’s animated series “Phineas and Ferb,” the Toy Box Pack will give players the chance to use the characters and gadgets like Phineas’s baseball blaster and Agent P’s flying fedora. The pack also comes with two new Power Discs – the “Tri-State Area Terrain” Texture Set and the “Danville Sky” Skydome – which will provide players with well-known location backgrounds from the show and allow them to create one-of-a-kind Toy Boxes.
Ubisoft today announced that Rayman Legends is now available available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Each console will have a set of exclusive features. The Xbox One version will include 10 exclusive challenges to unlock new achievements. These challenges require you to perform specific actions during a limited amount of time and are associated with various aspects of the game, such as player skills, co-op play, Kung Foot, and more. The PlayStation 4 will allow use of the controller’s touch pad for actions such as scratching Lucky Tickets, as well as a new Camera Mode. In this mode, players use the touch pad to freeze the screen and zoom in and out of the picture. Rayman Legends on PS4 will also support Remote Play so you can continue playing from your PS Vita while the TV is turned off.
Deep Silver announced today that the racing game NASCAR ’14, developed by ETX Racing, is now available in stores nationwide for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and via Steam for PC.
The Blackguards story continues on March 4th with the new DLC “Untold Legends,” offering new battles, additional quests and new story elements.
The same day, Daedalic Entertainment plans to release an update for Blackguards, which will bring balancing improvements.
Untold Legends sheds new light on the background and heritage of Takate, the former slave and arena fighter, who joins the player’s party in Chapter 2 of Blackguards. Players will learn how Takate became a slave gladiator, and get the chance to take revenge on all the slavers that caused so much pain to him for much of his life.
Sega today announced that it’s ‘Make War Not Love’ Steam event has concluded with Company of Heroes 2 on top of Total War: Rome II. As a result, Company of Heroes 2 owners now have the opportunity to download two brand new commander packs on Steam – Soviet Commander: Advanced Warfare Tactics and German Commander: Close Air Support Doctrine – for free, until February 22nd at 1pm EST.
Capcom today announced that Strider is now available as a $14.99 digital download title on PlayStation Network (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3), with versions on Xbox Live (Xbox One, Xbox 360) and PC (Steam) available on February 19th.
