Sony Interactive Entertainment today launched its next-generation console, PlayStation 5. The PS5 Digital Edition is available for a SRP of $499 CAD, and the PS5 with an Ultra HD Blue-ray disc drive is available for a SRP of $629 CAD. With the exception of the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive, both PS5 models offer the same specifications, so players will enjoy the same gameplay experiences regardless of which PS5 they choose. The PlayStation 5 is led by launch day titles from SIE Worldwide Studios, including Marvel’s Spider Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Astro’s Playroom.

Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the next iteration of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on PC, as well as on Stadia, Amazon Luna and Ubisoft’s subscription service, Ubisoft+. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release on PlayStation 5 alongside the launch of the console on November 12th.

The digital version of Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition arrives today for Xbox Series X|S, and on November 12th for PlayStation 5. The physical versions for all consoles will be available starting December 1st.

Sega today launched Yakuza: Like a Dragon for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Steam and Windows 10. For owners of the game on Xbox One, a Smart Delivery path is available for Xbox Series X|S. Three versions of the game are currently available, including the Day Ichi (Day One) Edition, the Hero Edition and the Legendary Hero Edition.
