Visceral Games has released a pair of new videos for Battlefield Hardline. First up, Battlefield Hardline’s singleplayer campaign. Narrated by Ian Milham, Hardline’s Creative Director, the 12 minute demo is shot entirely in-game and is the first look at Hardline’s new style and take on storytelling.
Visceral also debuted two new multiplayer modes, Hotwire and Rescue. In Hotwire, driving skills and teamwork are key to victory as cops attempt to stop criminals from stealing marked cars. Rescue is a competitive mode that puts players in the boots of SWAT operatives tasked with saving hostages from dangerous criminals. Players will need to be precise in Rescue because there are no second chances.
2K today announced that the complete NBA 2K15 experience found on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will also appear on the PC.
Zen Studios today announce that its upcoming table based on The Walking Dead from Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman will be launching on a variety of platforms beginning August 26th, including Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Wii U.
The Walking Dead table will present players with recognizable locations like Clementine’s treehouse and Everett’s pharmacy in Macon, down to the walker-infested streets of Savannah, and players will find a breathtaking retelling of Season One that keeps the peril and drama of Lee and Clementine’s story intact.
The Walking Dead pinball table also presents choice-driven gameplay across each of Season One’s five episodes, offering brand new story dialogue from the cast. Players will be tasked with choosing who lives and who dies in a walker attack, solving problems and raising the group’s morale, hunting down food and supplies, acquiring important tools, and navigating through the herd amidst an oncoming walker breach.
Sega today announced Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault, an all new standalone single-player expansion and a new chapter in the series. Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault is inspired by the conflict that Winston Churchill once described as “undoubtedly the greatest American battle of the war” – the Battle of the Bulge. The new campaign content will see players take control of the US Forces in this pivotal World War II battle in the densely forested, strategically critical Ardennes region of Western Europe. Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault will feature three entirely new Companies to choose from within the US Forces, each with their own unique Officers and play-style. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available on October 14th.

Electronic Arts today announced that EA Sports is rewriting Next Gen Goalkeepers in FIFA 15 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Goalkeepers in FIFA 15 will now look, move, and think like their real world counterparts with new AI that allows them to anticipate shots and passes, move with positional awareness, and display an array of new animations. Next Gen Goalkeepers is just one element of this season’s gameplay innovations that make FIFA 15 more immersive and responsive so fans can Feel the Game.
FIFA 15 adds all 18 clubs from the Turkish Süper Lig and gives the Barclays Premier League, the most played league across FIFA, an authenticity overhaul. Fans will be able to play FIFA 15 in all 20 stadiums of the Barclays Premier League, with chants captured from live events of the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season, and new commentary – matches will showcase broadcast overlays that are synonymous with the international TV presentation of the league. And more than 200 new realistic player faces have been 3D scanned and rendered for FIFA 15.
The most popular game mode in the franchise, FIFA Ultimate Team adds new features to help fans build and manage a team of their football heroes. Loan Players gives fans a chance to determine if some of the most highly sought after FUT players are suitable for their squads by signing players on loan via EA Sports Football Club Catalogue and playing with them for a limited number of games. A powerful new squad planning tool Concept Squads gives access to every player available in FIFA Ultimate Team so fans can view team chemistry and plan their next line-up or transfer market move. Once fans build a squad, they can play Friendly Seasons in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team – fans can challenge friends in a five match season format and track their stats in the new progress menu. FIFA 15 Ultimate Team also sees the arrival of a number of new FIFA Ultimate Team Legends, only on Xbox.
In Career Mode, an all-new Team Management system gives fans the chance to customize up to six different team sheets and alter formations, tactics, and roles based on their next opponent – making it a seamless transition as they progress from game-to-game throughout their careers. Team Management also offers fans the chance to personalize gameplay by assigning up to five different attacking and defending player Instructions to each of the 10 outfield player positions. Instructions dictate the type of attacking runs and defensive positioning players will adopt.

BioWare today announced Shadow Realms, a new 4v1 story-driven online action RPG, set in a constantly evolving world where modern meets fantasy. Four heroes adventure against another player-controlled enemy, a malevolent force called The Shadowlord, in dynamic 4v1 co-op missions, ensuring that no two battles are ever the same. Players will have the choice to play either as – or against – The Shadowlord, building experience and progression whether they have chosen good or evil. The over-arching narrative will be released episodically, playing out over time like a TV series, providing players the ability to experience story-driven adventures as a community.
