Starting today, gamers who pre-purchase Dying Light on Steam will receive free additional content: multiplayer DLC mode Be the Zombie and Steam-exclusive weapon called Punk Queen.
Be the Zombie is a competitive asymmetric multiplayer mode that lets you invade other players’ games as the Night Hunter – an ultimate zombie with a unique set of deadly skills. By playing as the Night Hunter, you turn into a fast, agile and dangerous predator, whose objective is to hunt down human survivors.
Punk Queen is a crowbar with every possible upgrade on board: batteries and wires for electrical damage, lighters for burning damage, acid containers, spikes, razors, and more. Players who pre-purchase Dying Light on Steam will receive an exclusive blueprint enabling them to craft the weapon in the game.

Activision announced that Skylanders Trap Team for Nintendo 3DS will launch day and date on October 5th with the console version of the game.
Skylanders Trap Team for Nintendo 3DS features an all-new adventure with its own levels, locations and gameplay. The game also uses the special features of the system. For instance, after villains are defeated in combat, players can use the bottom Touch Screen to pull them out of the game and trap them in the Traptanium Vault. Then, once captured, players can use the Touch Screen and microphone to poke, tickle and spin villains to make them dizzy.
Additionally, Skylanders Trap Team on Nintendo 3DS introduces a multiplayer version of the card game Skylanders Skystones that uses Wi-Fi connectivity, marking the first time Portal Masters can play the mini-game with friends and family.
Using the Portal of Power included in the Skylanders Trap Team Nintendo 3DS Starter Pack, players can load in their Skylanders characters directly into the system, allowing greater flexibility for playing on the go. Additionally, two Skylanders characters will be available at launch only via the Nintendo 3DS Starter Pack — Gusto, a Trap Master with an oversized Traptanium Boomerang that delivers the ultimate blow to bad guys; and Barkley, the Mini version of Skylanders Giants’ Tree Rex.
The Nintendo 3DS version of Skylanders Trap Team also enables fans to play with all of the toys from Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, Skylanders Giants and Skylanders SWAP Force, enabling true cross-platform play. All of the characters’ abilities, levels and customization will carry forward into Skylanders Trap Team.
Ghost Games announced today that Need for Speed Rivals Complete Edition will be in-store on October 21st for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC via Origin. Players will get the chance to take the rivalry between cops and racers to Redview County with even more cars.

Sega today announced that Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Wii U will now be released on November 11th in conjunction with the release of Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for the Nintendo 3DS.
The two distinct adventures are part of the new Sonic Boom initiative. For the first time ever, the realms of the franchise’s Wii U and 3DS titles will be blended with Sonic’s first CG-animated series, debuting on Cartoon Network this fall.
