Activision today announced that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the biggest entertainment launch of the year, besting not only all other video games, but also the biggest movies, music and books launched in 2014.
Activision also confirmed that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the highest-selling digital launch in console history according to Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and internal Activision estimates.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced the free Power of Defiance bundle including the new Lithariel character skin, Challenge Mode and Epic Rune for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. The Power of Defiance bundle will be available via a free content update today for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
With the new character skin, players become Lithariel, the Warrior Commander of the Tribesmen of Nurn, and lead the charge against the Dark Lord Sauron and his troops. They can test their survival skills in the new Test of Defiance Challenge Mode.

Edge Case Games today announced it has launched Fractured Space, its new online tactical space battle game, on Steam Early Access. Fractured Space puts players at the helm of capital ships in online, team-based space battles.
To join Early Access play, players can purchase either the Forerunner or Forerunner Fleet packs, priced at $9.99 and $19.99 USD respectively. The Forerunner Fleet pack provides four game keys so players can share with friends and form their own tactical space combat team. Further Founders Packs, with a range of perks, including exclusive ships, crew, boosters and ranks, will be introduced in the future.

Sierra and Lucid Games today announced pre-order bonuses for Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions, launching next week as a digital release on Xbox One and Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and PC.
