DmC Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 4 Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Capcom today announced that DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will be available to purchase for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting March 17th for $39.99. In addition, Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Summer 2015.

DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will include the original game, all previously released DLC, including the “Vergil’s Downfall” campaign as well as brand new modes and additional gameplay features.

New to DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition, players will be able to play as Dante’s twin brother himself in Vergil’s Bloody Palace Mode. For an extra depth of challenge, players will be able to try out the added Gods Must Die difficulty level and Must Style Mode as well as Hardcore Mode, which has been designed to play more like the classic Devil May Cry series. DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition players will also receive new Dante and Vergil costumes inspired by classic Devil May Cry character designs. The game will run at 1080p and 60 fps across both next-gen consoles.

Balancing and improvements based on fan feedback from DmC Devil May Cry are being implemented into DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition, as well as modifiers that can be turned on at various stages, including Turbo Mode which allows players to increase the speed of play. Additional leaderboards, trophies and achievements will be included, as well as social features, taking advantage of both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One functionality.

Bandai Namco today announced Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The series’ trademark one-on-one multiplayer modes return for offline and online play. Challenge players from across the world or across the couch in single match battles to determine the ultimate ninja. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 arrives in 2015.

Shelter 2 Theme Song – Seasons

Indie studio Might and Delight has released a new video containing Shelter 2´s theme song, as well as showing off the game’s seasons feature, a graphical system that allows for weather and seasons to change in real-time during the game. Shelter 2 will be arriving on steam, GOG and other digital platforms early in 2015.

Trine Enchanted Edition Coming to PS4 on December 23rd

Frozenbyte today announced that Trine Enchanted Edition will be released for the PlayStation 4 on December 23rd. The new version of Trine has been enhanced with a visual upgrade that boasts full HD 1080p graphics with 60 fps, as well as support for stereoscopic 3D at 720p. A number of gameplay improvements have also been included, most notably the addition of online co-op multiplayer.

Warhammer Quest Coming to PC in January

Indie publisher Chilled Mouse today announced a partnership with Games Workshop and Rodeo Games to bring Warhammer Quest to PC via Steam on January 7th. Based on the Games Workshop board game, and set in the Warhammer Fantasy world, the turn-based strategy game allows players to control a team of heroes and explore hidden dungeons around the borders of the Empire in a mix of adventure, strategy and role-playing.

Warhammer Quest will be available for $14.99 including three areas and the Vampire and Zombie content pack. The Deluxe edition, priced at $29.99, includes all of the in-game content available in the standard edition plus more than $27 of additional extras.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Collector’s Edition Unveiled

Last night on “Square Enix Presents,” Square Enix revealed details on the new Collector’s Edition package for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, as well as an associated sweepstakes.

Key facets of the exclusive Collector’s Edition include the official Final Fantasy Type-0 200-page manga that establishes the game’s world and characters, the 80-page art book that dives into the war-torn land of Orience, and the Composer’s Selections soundtrack with 15 tracks personally selected by the game’s composer, Takeharu Ishimoto. Moreover, every copy of the Collector’s Edition includes the Final Fantasy XV playable demo.

Other elements include the Golden Steelbook Case, a premium case that holds both the game and soundtrack CD, and features illustrations by artist Yoshitaka Amano. Additionally, the Collector’s Edition includes five Ace’s Cards, replicas of the cards held by Class Zero’s Ace.

Everyone who pre-orders the Collector’s Edition or the standard edition of the title is automatically entered in the Collector’s Edition Sweepstakes for a chance to win prizes, including a custom next generation console, canvas print of Ace and Noctis, and more.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is scheduled for release on March 17th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Don’t Starve Together Hits Steam Early Access Next Week

Klei Entertainment announced that Don’t Starve Together, the stand-alone multiplayer expansion to Don’t Starve, is coming to Steam Early Access.

This weekend, Klei will have sent out the final emails to everyone who registered for Closed-Beta access with a valid email. On December 15th, Klei will officially launch the Don’t Starve Together “Frontier Pack.”

For people who do not own Don’t Starve on Steam, the Frontier Pack is $19.99. For existing owners of Don’t Starve on Steam, the Frontier Pack is $4.99.
