Today, Square Enix announced that a free demo will be released next week for Balan Wonderworld, the all-new action-platformer from the creators of Sonic the Hedgehog. The demo will be available to play from January 28th, allowing players to experience two hours of Balan Wonderworld gameplay ahead of its March 26th release date. Featuring three of the game’s twelves worlds, the demo can be enjoyed with friends in local co-op mode or in single player mode and will be available on each platform that the full game will be released on.
Rockfish Games today announced that their space looter shooter, Everspace 2 is now available in Steam Early Access and GOG Games in Development. At launch, the game will be available in English with full voice acting for the first 12+ hours of the story campaign as well as several side missions taking place in the first two star systems of the full game. Everspace 2 in Early Access is priced at $39.99 USD.
Respawn today announced Apex Legends will be celebrating its two-year anniversary with the game’s next major update, Season 8 – Mayhem. Arriving on February 2nd, Season 8 – Mayhem will introduce the 16th Legend to the arena with Fuse, the laid-back explosives enthusiast, add the 30-30 Repeater, a lever-action rifle, and shake up Kings Canyon in the map’s third major overhaul.

SNK today announced that on March 16th, Samurai Shodown will be released on Xbox Series X|S. On Xbox Series X, the game will run at a smooth 120 FPS.
