Nintendo is hosting free demo events of Splatoon for all Wii U owners, and people who purchase the game will receive a squid-boatload of free post-launch content. Nintendo announced these and other details during a Nintendo Direct video focused on the Splatoon game, which launches May 29th exclusively for the Wii U.
ACE Team are taking 2014’s Abyss Odyssey and spreading the Warlock’s nightmare to the PlayStation 4 in Abyss Odyssey: Extended Dream Edition – with upgraded 1080p graphics, all the recent updates to the PC version of Abyss Odyssey including combat balances, online 2-player and local 4-player versus mode, Zeno Clash’s Golem as a mini-boss, and some new console-exclusive mini-bosses whose souls can be captured and then used in battle. The PS4 version will launch soon for $14.99 on PlayStation Network.
Deep Silver announced that the role-playing game, Risen 3: Titan Lords, is coming to PlayStation 4 as an Enhanced Edition on August 21st for $39.99 (digital only).
The Enhanced Edition includes all updates and previously released DLC content (Adventure Grab, Fog Island, Uprising of the Little Guys) presented with a level of graphical quality comparable to the “Ultra” settings on the original PC release.
CD Projekt RED has released a new trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, entitled “Rage & Steel”. The game is scheduled to launch May 19th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment confirmed the voice talent behind some of the most notable characters in Batman: Arkham Knight, the finale to the Batman: Arkham trilogy from Rocksteady Studios. Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) joins the cast as James Gordon, Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga) as Barbara Gordon, John Noble (Sleepy Hollow, Fringe) as Scarecrow and Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights, Hart of Dixie) as Nightwing.
Banks, Greene, Noble and Porter join an ensemble cast that includes fan-favorites Kevin Conroy, who returns as Batman; Tara Strong as Harley Quinn; Troy Baker as Two-Face and Nolan North as Penguin.
Batman: Arkham Knight will be available on June 23rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Team17 announced the signing of Florida-based indie developer Steamroller Studios’ forthcoming release, Deadwood: The Forgotten Curse for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Deadwood: The Forgotten Curse is an action/adventure game with a unique survival twist. You play as Lathe, a teenage woodling and an avid inventor. During your adventure you are accompanied by a stone giant named Roguard and together you must fight back a horde of wooden zombies, better known as “The Deadwood”, and stop their curse from spreading through the land of Knottington.
By day, Roguard will protect you from the Deadwood allowing you the freedom to explore the land of Knottington. You’ll scavenge for resources and then use those resources to craft your weapons and defenses because when the sun sets, Roguard falls fast asleep leaving you alone to fight back the Deadwood and protect your stone companion. With the right balance of strategy and skill you may just survive the night.
inXile Entertainment recently announced the Wasteland 2 Game of the Year Edition, an enhanced and expanded update to the original game slated for late summer this year. inXile has now announced that this upcoming edition will be offered as a free upgrade to all previous crowdfunding backers and any purchasers of the original edition of Wasteland 2.
Wasteland 2 Game of the Year Edition will include a host of improvements for existing fans and new players to enjoy. The game will be updated to Unity 5, the latest version of the Unity game engine, and benefits from improved environment textures, character models, and Physically Based Rendering for more impressive lighting. Thousands of lines of new voice-over have also been recorded to enrich the game’s cast of characters.
The Game of the Year Edition update also provides major enhancements to gameplay.
